great price for what is a very good mouse...

The dual scroll wheels, RF + Bluetooth connectivity and multiple pairing ability make this mouse superb for use in an office environment.

Spreadsheets and the like with two scroll wheels are just another level.
Great mouse, use one and have a spare. I would say these show up on Amazon Prime day, usually cheaper than this. So you might want to wait for the upcoming prime..

Either you have spent a lot on other mice or you are being pessimistic. Held one of these for first time the other day and was easily the nicest in hand mouse I have ever used. Side scroll is awesome feature that more should have. If this was nearer 20 than 40 would be all over it.

Sorry but this is a fantastic mouse. I wouldn't be comparing it to a wired gaming mouse

If you're using a mouse 6-8 hours then you won't regret spending the money on the MX Master
Fantastic mouse

Was wondering what this was all about, but it's just some Logitech flow software that needs installed across the systems: logitech.com/en-…rol

I thought they'd done something clever like adding flash memory to the mouse or something.
Great price, if you need WAWA lessons please contact me.

Furthermore the computers you install Flow on must all be on the same network in order to copy and paste documents across etc. Logitech input devices are excellent but some aspects of the software they employ leave you wanting.....

For example I have the MK850 (keyboard & mouse) setup to use on two workstations and a laptop. The two workstations are on the same network so I use flow on those.

To toggle between the workstations and laptop you need to select the computer either 1, 2 or 3 on both the keyboard AND the mouse. So if I switch the mouse to computer 3 from computer the keyboard doesn't automatically follow the mouse.

I think this is a pity as it means having to double key your selection on both the keyboard and mouse every time you switch between the computers.
Yeah, it's nothing special, but it's miles better than the usual 5 quid garbage
i travel a lot for work, is this mouse heavy?
Heat, best mouse for office/productivity

I keep a G502 on my desk as well for gaming
How does this compare with the g700s?

It's usually the Amazon version of the mouse that comes up and that is the old version of this mouse.

amazon.co.uk/Log…8-2

Ihe AMZ version is still good however the dpi is much lower at 1600 vs 4000 for the 2S. This is important if you want fine control over high resolution monitors (4K or multiple 4K monitors).

It weighs a fraction over 150 grams.
The size/shape however might mean this or something else gets crushed in your bag as you travel with it.

You've seen the travel friendly MX Anywhere 2S, right?
How does this compare to the original MX Master? Is it much of an upgrade?
Wish the white version was the same price
Does anyone have any views on this vs the MX Ergo? Which is better?

As mentioned above it has a higher DPI and I think it has slightly better battery life but otherwise it's very similar.

MX Ergo is a trackball pointing device. If you haven't used one before, you'll have to acclimatise to it. It tends to be used by graphic designers, but that's not to say it can't be used for run of the mill navigating. I haven't researched whether the trackball rests on a mechanism or has optical/laser sensors to detect its movement.
If it's mechanical, crud/dust/skin oils will accumulate and it'll need cleaning out periodically. (Remember the mice of yesteryear which had a steel ball encased in rubber, and you'd have to open the cover, take the tracking ball out to wash it, clean the two rollers it rested against, or if in a hurry, simply banged the mouse against the desk to get it track? You might be going back to that territory if this has a mechanical movement sensor setup).

The MX Master is a top notch mouse device. The weighted main scroll wheel makes it very easy to scroll either precisely, or very fast and smooth like you'd want to quickly scroll to the bottom of a page. It uses a clever mechanism that engages/disengages the scroll action between freewheel or using the ratchet gear. Selectable DPI sensitivity of the laser tracking allows you to customise its response. Laser operates even on glass surfaces, but I'd strongly recommend you also pick up a 3M Precise Mouse Pad that comes in several guises some with an integrated wrist rest if you don't already have one (the mouse is quite chunky, so you may need a wrist rest to elevate your hand to a comfortable height where your palm cups the mouse). The 3M mouse pad is very thin and when placed on a clean desk surface, doesn't move, plus the printed design and surface texture helps improve the laser tracking accuracy.

I have both, you wouldn't notice any difference. Battery life marginally better and grey colour is better on the 2S
Amazing mice though! Use mine for work all day and gaming when not working. So comfortable and accurate. The best thing is the adaptive scrolling and scroll wheel itself...so slick.

I used to insist on having wired mouse for gaming and always had a wired one plugged in for that use... I am just as rubbish at games with this mouse than the wired "gaming" ones so I just use this mouse for everything now and threw the wired ones out.

My old MX master is now used in the lounge connected to the Nvida shield TV when I want to stream games to the lounge TV.

Hot product and hot price, voted hot.

I have this fabulous mouse. Very comfortable, high quality and the scroll wheel feels surprisingly real nice, slow with some resistance which feels amazing. It sure is a thing of beauty.

Apart from protecting the finish of the mouse, it just adds more bulk to a mouse that's designed to be left on a desk.
I'm just guessing, but I think that's why they made the Anywhere version.

I've still got the original MX Anywhere, much smaller, but still a very good mouse that you'll have to lock away when not at your desk on your travels as someone is bound to steal it.

If you want uber compact travel mouse, take a look at the Microsoft Arc Bluetooth touch mouse. Compromised ergonomics when compared to these Logitechs but great form factor for travelling with.
After having this mouse for several months, it has THE WORST placed forward and backward buttons of any mouse I've ever used. Very awkward to reach, and often find myself slipping on to the wrong one.
Have one and love it - use it with a Craft keyboard with an iMac. One thing that bugs me though is that won’t stay connected for restarting to Windows in Bootcamp - no fault of the mouse but if anyone knows a way, please let me know! 🏼😁

This mouse is awesome.

I only paid £10 less for a simple mx master.
All of the MX Masters are fantastic although earlier models suffered with a faulty Gesture button, I can confirm that has been fixed (currently own 3 of those bad boys, had 4 in total, bought 2 at full RRP of £70, did not regret a thing).

I owned a G502 also, the scroll wheel died so I got my 3rd MX Master for home.

I use this mouse heavily and with precision (Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator) for 8h a day then go home and game on it for the rest of the day, hands down the best mouse I've held/used and I've been hardcore into mice since the Logitech 518 days!

The battery last so long I forget how often I need to charge it - it often tells me (politely!) that it needs a charge, I'll forget to charge it and it will die THE NEXT WORKING DAY.

The double gesture button remapping will sate any macro and productivity freaks like me, the kinetic scrollwheel is damn right addictive - no joke, I play with it all the time and have been since the mouse came out (8h a day!).

The sensor works on almost every surface (I have one for my laptop usage) and the mouse will definitely be a source of envy amongst co-workers in any office environment.
Use the first MX Master not sure what’s different in the 2S but I love the MX Master I used the performance one before that not good for gaming (ofc) but great for programming and that.
I have an Mx master and it hasn't been out of the box in months because it's surprisingly heavy. Using a rather hideous RGB Razer mouse at home and a cheapo Microsoft wireless mouse at work instead.
