I’ve got one of these and a Master 3 mouse. The 3 is definitely better, however it’s also quite a lot more. Genuinely great nice. If either of mine go faulty I won’t hesitate to buy another, makes other ‘normal’ mice feel like cheap little toys.

Really great deal. I am looking for the 3s but am very tempted to buy. My only main reason for the 3s is the charging port is USB-C (which works well with the Mx keyboard) as opposed to the master 2s which has a Micro USB port. For this price though, it's great value for money!

I have both the keyboard and the 2s mouse. I use a little adapter and the problem is solved

Tried this and honestly hated the back/forward as well as the side scroll wheel placement. Gestures are hit and miss if you don't have a big desk. The 3 fixes these issues.

If you're not using any MX Master-specific features then better get the 3. (edited)

I agree, back and forward buttons are really not ergonomic.

Plus my ratchet wheel stopped working properly after 2 years of light use.

So I wouldn't recommend this unfortunately.

I have this and I love it - also have the MX Anywhere when I am out of my home office.

Not the cheapest it's ever been, but this is a versatile mouse that's good in the hand (well, assuming you're right-handed) and well worth this price.

the side buttons are absolutely terrible until you get to mx3. just get the mx3 just for that.

I have been a Logitech fanatic since late 90s, I now decided to not buy anymore this brand.
G533 broken just after the warranty ended. K740 keyboard loss a key and I could not find an official replacement, I had to buy a whole used keyboard to fix mine.
MX3 bought after my MX2 broke and arrived defective, replaced, and a year or so away the mouse is starting to misbehave on drags, like if the button is releasing and pressing again.
The last total disappoint came from the headset Vibe 125, total disaster, very slow to turn on and become operational, poor noise cancelling on the mic, and the audio is unstable sometimes it kind of jumps up with some form of surround and goes back again, issue present with slack and zoom.

I gave up on raising these issues as it's generally a waste of time.
