The way I did it (which may not be the only or indeed the best way)... I …The way I did it (which may not be the only or indeed the best way)... I added exactly £71.08 from my own bank account. I then had to exchange this to Euros... but by the time I did the exchange my £71.08 only bought me €78.91. But I needed €78.92... so I was 1 cent short. I then had to add another £10 (the minimum allowed) to my Revolut from my bank account. I then had to convert 10pence (the minimum) into 11cent. Now I had €79.02. I then payed Amazon IT the €78.92 and ordered the mouse. I then converted the remaining €0.10 back into £0.09. So I still have £9.94 in my Revolut now.

You don't have to do the exchanging with Revolut. If you pay in Euros Revolut will convert it on the fly and charge you in GBP.

If you want the exact amount of money in Revolut then you do still have to play with exchange rates to know how much will be taken. I find it easier to send the money to Revolut via BACS (no minimum and virtually instantaneous) then send back any excess (also instantaneous).

So:

1) BACS £80 from Banking app (e.g. First Direct for me)
2) Pay with Revolut card
3) BACS remainder back to First Direct

That's if you don't just end up switching to Revolut as your primary account which is what I ended up doing recently.

Great price, grabbed too many bits this month or would get this.

Have the original version, favourite work mouse.
Saw this last night and was ready to pull the trigger but need to wait a couple of days so the delivery window moves to next week 😵
Will be away later this week and don’t want them to just leave outside my house like it’s been happening with every parcel during the pandemic!

@ironfist one for your collection
An excellent mouse - bought mine about 2 months ago but paid £99 for it - great price!
This mouse is really good, I have it as my current one for work. The logitech flow is really useful to move to machine seamlessly.

I had the MX Master 2 before and everything feels improved, weight, scroll wheel, shape ect.
I have heard mixed reviews about this one. Some say previous versions were better and some say they are not different enough to warrant an upgrade. As I don't have any of the MX series would this be the best one to buy? Does it have any flaws?
I have this and the old MX Master. I know this is a lot of money for a mouse, but it's SO worth it. The new scroll wheel is a complete joy to use.
Still got a couple of Master 2s in boxes not used yet so doubt i'll go for this one for a while.

Also i remember a few reviews that complained about the side buttons being right where your thumb sits. Not used this mouse yet but can see how those buttons could be a problem.
MX revolution still my favourite! I have the 2S and it's the only replacement in the MX series that's even got close, as far as I'm concerned, but I unfortunately haven't tried this new one yet so can't comment. All I can say is that the reason the 2S can't take the crown from the revolution is that the scroller on the side is not "notched" (it's actually another scroll wheel but you couldn't actually scroll it, just push it forwards or back) but the main point was that you could go one notch forwards or back easily, whereas with the 2S it's hard. And also the 2 side buttons are in an awkward position and far too small! If those are fixed on the new one then it could be a winner, at least for me.

Also 25% through employee benefits... At least it is for me on LifeWorks
I managed to pick one up from Logitech store using a student discount supplied by a generous HUKD member.

Great mouse, and a massive improvement over my last mouse.

Regards
Steve
I went down the Revolut/fee free route and got it for £71.09 all in. It was a lot of hassle, and not worth it, should have just opted for the Amazon auto currency convert option which was only £2.26 more. Live and learn. I guessed my way round the Italian language barrier too but I think it will arrive between Thursday and Saturday if I've understood it correctly.

Just tried this, didn’t work for me.

Do you have to go via a special link for the 25% discount?

Thanks.

In what way was using Revolut a hassle? I opened an account a few months back but have yet to use it. Genuinely interested for when I do eventually use it for a purchase from a Europe-based retailer.

Thanks.

Ah, that explains it, I was trying Amazon UK from your original comment.
I'm currently using the first version and it still works great. Really want this upgrade but I've bought too much this month already Great deal though!
This or the 2s? Has the scroll wheel issue been fixed?

That does indeed sound like hassle. Argh!

Guess, it isn’t so bad for people who regularly use their Revolut account for overseas purchases and usually have money sat in their account. I am not one of those people.

This or the 2s? Has the scroll wheel issue been fixed?

That issue on the MX2S is infuriating! It's almost as if the wheel is weighted and wants the weight to roll to the bottom most of the time.

Put me off byuing future Logitech product until I know it's fixed.
Should I? I've got the Logitech G402 wired but I don't like wired
But I don't need to the BT usb though is it cheaper if I get one without ? I can get the student offer

It's available via Student Beans
Got this and MX Keys for Mac with 25% student discount, overall very happy! Was really disappointed with the scrolling at first, then played around with the settings in logi options and now works like a dream
Bought this last month as a long time user of an MX master and many other logitech products.

The new mouse wheel operation really is dreadful and this is supported by many bad reviews regarding exactly that issue.

It really is a beautiful mouse but it just wasn't for me.

In the end i bought a new old model MX master, gave the old one to my wife and saved a load.
Is the button to change device still on the underside?

Heard this was only an issue if you use the bluetooth connection and lift the mouse up or was the issue there constantly? Shocking regardless imo considering the price

Also heard this shouldn't matter since flow takes care of that? I'm just a prospective buyer though so don't take my word for it.
yunghamz10/08/2020 17:29

When flow works, for me its sporadic, half the time its connected and the other half its not, seemingly random. I have it set up to detect when i move to an edge and automatically switch machine (1 windows 1 mac) but flow will frequently report the other machine is offline, and to make things worse its always different, sometime the mac will say the windows machine is off and sometime the windows will say the mac is off, sometime both will report offline and sometime they will report offline but the switch will still work. Copy and paste from the windows to the mac works 50% of the time and never works from the mac to the windows. finally no matter how hard i try i cannot remove an old computer from the logitect software, if deleted it just reappears, ive tried uninstalling reinstalling the software on both machines, cleaning out registry files on windows to remove any link (suggested on a forum), used an app cleaner on mac but still it shows and looks for a computer i got rid of over 12 month ago.

All this coupled with the constant scroll wheel issues (I have anywhere 2s model) and i am getting fed up with this crap, its a premium mouse that command a premium price, but its starting to turn into a giant headache.

I am hoping over companies bring fast scroll wheels to their mice as thats the only feature I really need for work, I can cope without the rest.

Got MX Master 2. Unreal mouse used MX years actually can’t imagine working without one. Two hours to charge whilst using then unplug and forget about charging it for at least 7 days.

Unfortunately can't install any software on work laptop so have to switch manually. The triathlon has the button within thumb reach and it makes things so much easier. Never understood why they didn't do the same with the MX Master series.
Amazed we don't have any sarcy comments here, so let me start things off...

£73 - does this do all my work for me too?

I think I have an MX revolution, is it about 10 years old?

Love mine, got a new job and sadly sat under a WiFi router, knocked it for six
