Thanks, think this is pretty good deal with the 6% quidco.

ive just added the same deal but with pc world price promise, ive said that credit should go to you for finding it in the 1st place

It say usually ships 1-2 weeks but there is no add to basket button or price. I think it must be out of stock now.

dont think pcworld will take the discount into account so with qudco u wont be paying much more, worth a try with them though

try this link ]http//ac…373 or just search the product code 570-10373

Yep I got two a couple months back @ £37 each when dell had a sale. Should of waited abit and saved a couple of more pounds lol .nevermind.

Also about pcworld price promise - I would say that I've never had any luck when trying to buy something cos they make excuses like : don't compare with that store/website or they don't have it in stock. But good luck if your able to use it.

One thing I will say about the mouse is that the manual don't say how long you should charge it for so its trial and error. But the software does have an indicator should battery life in days or percent and will give a warning when very low. To prolong life just switch off over night or when not in use.

This was found last week and voted cold. I posted about the price promise last week. Also thought that Quidco wasnt allowed to be included in these deals.

Purely on the basis that this deal is the same that was found last week, voted cold - sorry OP!

My apologies, SLIGHTLY cheaper here, due to the discount voucher only. Still leaving my cold vote(as have no option lol) as I dont think(and neither do the forum rules) that quidco should be included in the quoted price.

Wow, what a difference a few days make, i posted this same deal 3 days ago and it had a frosty reception. Have a look here - hotukdeals.com/ite…as/

Agreed sale - thats what I was referring to above

what a difference 10% makes, and I only included quidco as the 6% off runs out today

Doesnt really matter - it shouldnt be included as it is not guaranteed by any stretch.

But yes, agreed its cheaper, but voucher probably should have been put in the other thread, rather than create a new thread and take the credit from sale for the find....

Hadn't seen the other thread, only posted this as i'd been sent the 10% discount in an email and went on the dell website to see if anything was worth buying.....and voting cold cos u were isn't really very nice, this is a pretty good price for a pretty good mouse

No I dont think it "isnt very nice" - I think a cold vote on a duplicate deal with quidco included(which is against forum rules) is a valid one.

It's only excluded if it's purely a QuidCo deal, not if it's a discount as above, hot deal

This mouse is REALLY good by the way.

It looks like a lot of money, but well worth it my opinion.

I got it when it was £60 and i was so impressed that I bought another within 2 weeks (for use at work).

Quidco down to 4% from today, still a good deal though. Haven't got this mouse but i do have the VX Nano, very comfortable, with only some of the features this one has. Once you get one of these you wont know what u did without one.

its a really nice mouse, I got the keyboard to from scan for about £80, best ive had.

Fantastic mouse - bought mine a while back for about £60ish.
Felt a little crazy spending that much money on a mouse but after reading all the reviews thought I may as well... no regrets. Tempted to buy another one for work...

Thanks

Should this item become out of stock, it is almost the same price on eBay ... but of course DELL is more respectable vendor

hideous - it's only a mouse. rip off!

It may be expensive generally for a mouse but this deal offers a saving of between £10 - £20 on the price at many of the main retailers - ebuyer £46.99, amazon £44.80, play £54.99, PCworld £69.99, etc...I dont think this is really comparable to a standard wired mouse for a fiver

Buying **** will get you ****. This mouse is wicked.

well i've not got **** - happy with my bluetooth mouse

i got 2 of these for £21 each due to a catalouge pricing error they did the right thing and honoured the original price due to them sending me the wrong mice twice. Good mouse but not great for gaming, seems laggy even in windows and the scroll button press has a different function, some messing about is needed to get firefox/IE tabs to work and throwing nades in COD4

Overall ace mouse

I can highly recommend these mice!
I use one constantly for 8 hours at work for various tasks, such as 3D CAD (browsing Hotukdeals isnt supposed to be one of them  ) .. Lots of great features and very versatile for programming all the controls, and theres more than enough buttons for all your fingers and thumbs  .. with 2 scroll wheels etc...
I was that impressed that I bought one for home also!! Both of mine were sourced through eBay and were approx £45 for reconditioned models :x ... I'm seriously thinking of buying a brand new one and sell on mine to get the full warranty!!

Do you use the included software ?
I have a previous version of this mouse (MX500) that I bought 4+ years ago & it's still going strong, I do remember when I bought it & installed the Logitech software it was laggy. I just let windows detect it as a normal mouse now & it's super smooth.
Most games seem to detect all the buttons & it's great having mellee/reload/grenade etc all on the mouse.
I think I'll buy one if you are using the Logitech software due to the fact my old ones looking really tatty but still works great & I could do with the wireless function, so if you could let me know I'd appreciate it thanks.

Huh, i was looking at this to replace my MX1000 as its starting to age now. I thought these were really good for gaming?

So what's so good about this mouse? I had a go with it (unconnected) in PC world a while ago and it seemed nicely built but nothing special in looks or features. The extra 'scroll wheel' is nothing of the sort, it doesn't scroll at all and only moves backwards/forwards an eigth of a turn or so.

many thanks ordered 1 :-D
Shame I could not get quidco to load the Dell website!

The extra scroll wheel can be programed for various functions, I have mine set as 'document flip' so when I have multiple windows open I can switch between them quickly without having to select from the bottom taskbar, other functions such as volume, media, zoom etc or any keystroke can be programed, therefore as you say it is not a full scroll wheel but a precise scroll for zoom, volume etc...

The top scroll wheel can be set in 'Free spin' or 'Clicl to click', in free spin mode you can scroll through long word documents or web pages very very quickly, a quick spin sets it in 'free spin' and the wheel keeps spinning for several seconds! .. with a touch it drops back into 'click to click' (normal) mode for very precise scrolling...

The mouse does take a while to get use to and can be set up to how you like it?
ie you can program the mouse for different settings depending on your app? So you can have the mouse set up exactly how you want it for all your programs...

Trying the mouse unconnected is hardly a good test?
It would be like saying you have had a test drive of a car sat in the showroom!

Overall if you are after a bargain mouse you will not be wanting to pay £35! Let alone the original £69.99! but like myself if you use your mouse all day everyday you will grow to love it!

It has a nice USB receiver the size of a USB memory stick, (so no unsightly receiver with flashing lights sat on your desk), Nicely designed docking station to pop in when not in use, Battery life is very good ( I get the full day without any problems!),battery is built in rechargeable (so no need to fit new ones every few weeks), and very light to use even though its quite a size...

Does it look as good in the flesh then? Seroiusly tempted to buy this even though i have the VX nano and a V450

Got mine this morning as well. Great mouse to use. One thing though, it came in a naff brown box rather than the usual glossy packaging. Makes no difference as the mouse is brand new but some people would prefer to pay a bit more to get the packaging is they sell their kit later on.

Hi there, just wanted to ask someone who has purchased this mouse from dell, whether it is a OEM version or Retail because there may be more warranty differences but cant see any information about this on the dell website.

I do doubt that it is the OEM version because it includes software in the box, but the previous poster said it arrived in a brown box which is why i am double checking before i order mine

Seems like a great offer but would be really grateful if any1 could clarify this before i order one for myself

Thanks
