Amazon just price matching again. They should be leading! Checked it just a few minutes ago myself when it was £17.99.

Great mouse BTW. Highly recommended to all. Don't be put off by the 'gaming mouse' moniker. That just means it's both fast and accurate

Best mouse I have ever owned, I use it for gaming and general use and it's never let me down in 4 years now!

I've had mine for over 4 years (paid £30 at the time!), still going strong, haven't even needed to replace the Teflon pads.. hot!

Seems very expensive for what it is. I have a Logitech laser, has been great and at full price, 25% less than this.

got this mouse for £5 from staples in the sales about 3-4 years ago. Its amazing !

Expensive? It's one of the most respected gaming mice ever created.
People have different priorities though, I personally wouldn't buy food at M&S

Brilliant mouse, had this a few years ago and upgraded to a G5. For this price, everyone should have one

Great mouse, at this price tempted to get one as a spare!

Fantastic mouse, bargain! Had this for 5 years now for gaming and general use, never had a problem.

I have had one of these for 4 years, super mouse. Cost me a lot more than this though when I bought it, I am thinking about £60!!

Excellent mouse - been using the wired (MX518) and wireless (MX700) for over 6 years now.

If you don't have much of a budget for a top gaming mouse then look no further than this one.

Can anyone recommend a decent full size wireless mouse?, I've got a few around the house, and they're fine for the kids, but tiny for my hands, need something manly, doesn't matter if it's a gaming mouse or not, something around £15, any help would be most appreciated.

Does this work with windows 7?

Of course it does. For more features, like assigning buttons to whatever you want, you can install the Logitech software.

I paid about £25 for this a few months ago, dammit! The MX510/518 is the only mouse I like, it just feels right in my hand. £25 was a bit steep, £17 is great!

Cheers, I've now ordered.

Dammit, they dropped it down a pound since that deal a month ago! STOP MAKING ME REGRET MY PURCHASES PLAY.COM

Keep making him regret his purchases play.com ^_^

A good price for a great gaming mouse, my MX518 has provided me with 5 years of sterling service and is still going strong.

Superb!!!! Got one a week ago and my Sniper skills have gone through the roof.

Best Mouse Ever

once you've bought something STOP checking the price !! I bought an SSD this month, knowing full well it will drop £5/£10 per month for the next 6 months. (making good use of it now)

Have been waiting for the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3 to drop in price, as have had mine for a good 5 years...but at this price the change to the Logitech is quite tempting!

don't forget quidco !!

good mouse, i remember the staples flogging these off for cheap, got an g5 for cheap then !

Had this mouse for a few months and would definitely recommend, great mouse.

Best mouse I've owned. I've had it for 5 years and wrote a review on the Logitech site I was so impressed with it. I upgrade my whole system every year but this is still part of my setup.

had it for 4 months now, best mouse i've had ! thats saying something considering how old this mouse is now

I got one of these about 2 years ago and it's a superb mouse, and VERY comfortable too for day to day use, rather than just for gaming.

has anyone who bought this recently from play able to confirm that it is 1800 dpi (rather than the original/older 1600 dpi model) ??

thnx

I think the newer one has two large D shaped feet underneath at front/back, whereas the older one has four small feet.
