From RS website: "When What Hi-Fi Sound & Vision magazine tested the Logitech Squeezebox Touch they were highly impressed; "One of the most affordable ways to build a multi-room system."

Following on from the popular Squeezebox Duet, the Touch puts a wealth of music at your finger tips. Featuring a 4.3 inch, colour touch screen you can easily select and play music from intuitively planned menus. As What Hi-Fi Said, "It has a big screen and is clear, colourful and responsive." Furthermore, the Touch's screen is large enough to view album art and photos.

Streaming music with the Touch is easy. Simply connect to your wireless home network and gain access to a massive range of digital music over the Internet. There are thousands of radio stations and sites such as Last.FM, Pandora and Rhapsody that cover the entire spectrum of music. Furthermore, the Squeezebox Touch will also stream via DLNA from your computer, letting you stream your own music from computer to hi-fi without the need for cabling.

Connecting up the Touch to your hi-fi is easy. Choose between coaxial, optical or analogue outputs. A further bonus is the standard remote control. Other handy sockets include a USB and SD card slot. Use these to connect and playback digital media from your mobile phone, iPod/iPhone and MP3 player.

As you'd expect from the Squeezebox range, the sound quality is excellent. With its 24-bit DAC or the option of using a digital output (try connecting to the Cambridge Audio DacMagic for truly spectacular results) the sound is crisp, detailed and refined.

Use it with Logitech's Squeezebox server simply running on your computer or incorporate it into an entire Squeezebox multi-room system with music in your kitchen and bedrooms - the choice is yours."

its got to be HOT

Hot, but still too pricey for me. I'm running Squeezeplay on a hacked O2 Joggler with an updated soundcard and it's fantastic. These things are obviously going to be better than a Joggler though. Wish I could justify getting one!
