useful gizmo if you have a small laptop

These are great. I got one from Comet a few months ago.

Delivery is £4.85

If Comet is handier for people then they have it for £9.99

It is actually slightly cheaper when you add it to the basket, £9.75, so I am amending the price accordingly.

You need to user the voucher, it's in the deal i linked to.

How do you get free delivery using the 'sim card' trick? I can see you get free delivery with some of the sim cards, but it still costs almost £5 for the sim card, so the total is nearer £15 then? or am I missing something here?...:?

Don't forget quidco too!

the sim card 'trick' is free only if you return the card for a refund in store.

Good if you're comfortable with doing that. I personally am not.

Thanks, I'm not really happy about doing that either. There's saving money, and there's scamming the retailer, and that's the latter. One step down from that would be "get it free, you just have to steal it"...

I bought a couple of these from my local Tesco a few days ago.

The package comes with 1 X Duracell AA battery !.

Very good mouse, Very good price.

There were 2 left in St. Peters Worcester Tesco at 6pm. I got no. 3 - Just plugged it into a Dell D420 running Ubuntu and it works straight off. Top banana.

Same, I'm actually suprised they allow you to do it. It's like argos refunding your purchase without taking back the free gift voucher you got with it.

how is this mouse compared to bluetooth ones? is the range better or worse?

No experience of bluetooth, there was some mention of the 'range' on page 2 of the review link in my last post

Voucher not working on these anymore

Whats the size of the receiver?

Is it possible to get a bluetooth one so I don't need a receiver? It's just clogging up a USB port that I could otherwise use.

How far do you want to sit from your laptop ? :?

Cracking mouse for the price, and I'm using it on the original alkaline battery from when I first used it 4 months ago (heavy user here 10+hrs daily)

Shame it doesn't have the nano reciever though - would have made this a great mouse

Its a RF USB only receiver so you can't swap it for Bluetooth either

If you do not want to use the sim card trick (which I dont, seems to defeat the object of getting something delivered if you then have to go back to the shop for a refund). The cheapest I could find delivered is £13.99 at play.com - is there anywhere cheaper?
