VX Nano cordless notebook laser mouse
Ultra portable with nano-receiver
Ensures your mouse is always ready
Easy to fit in notebook bag
Fly through documents at hyper speed

Picked up the thread for the V450 Nano and noted that some comments noted that the VX Nano was a better bit of kit at a higher price. Given the V450 is out of stock and the price looks to have come down on the VX think this is a good deal.

Edit: just realised that collect in store not possible - apologies

I couldn't see an option online to collect in store (not that there is a Dixons near me - which is possibly why I was not given that option).

Great price for this mouse (usually £35+)

Dixons is only online now, it's branded as currys digital on the high street. So there will not be an option to collect in store.

I thought is was online only too but got shot down some months ago when I stated that (though I knew there were some in airports). Now my post looks a bit odd as the 'Collect in store' has been removed from the title.

Still a good price so maybe the cold voters can tell us where to buy it cheaper but you can reserve and collect at PC World for the same price (£25ish) if you want it quicker.

Cheaper (£24.35) at PC World using the collect in store option...

Its going to cost more than 60p's worth of fuel for most to pick it up though.

brilliant mouse for a laptop or netbook!

sure i mentioned this the other day on the samsung nc10 post...oh well.

£24.46 @ amazon delivered anyhoo

This is interesting as should it not be £19.35 when buying online and collecting in store?

If you go to google and type in vx nano pc world into the search.

The first sponsered link that comes up is pc world - save £10 on vx nano when buying online and using [email protected]

The in store price ref website is £29.35 so it should be £19.35. I reserved one but it reserved as £24.35 :x am going to get it tomorrow and show them this reference on google.

Any ideas about this? will they honour this considering it is actually their own link on google that says there is a £10 saving for buying it this way???

If they do then its a great buy ar £19.35.

I guess it's an out of date sponsored link.

The website shows a Web Exclusive Price inc VAT of £24.35, which is what you would expect to pay when going for the collect in store option. This price is also the one which comes up on the collect in store confirmation.

Well, i'll ask them about the google link and see if they will give me it for 19.35.

Will they price match the 19.99 dixons price?

Got one today, it is ace. It is red like a Ferrerai, I have only used it for a short while but I love it. A steel at £14.5

You sure that's the vx nano and not the v450 nano?

Never seen the vx in red

Your right dixons is not on the list.

However I spoke to the store manager reference the google link that states £10 saving when buying online and using collect in store. He was great he was like thats fine sir I'll process that for you right now!

He was a cracking chap very helpful and he didnt even go online to check he just processed the VX NANO with a saving of £10

So I took it home for £19.35 :-D

After looking at them both and now having a test with the VX Id def recommend this one the extra functionality is great and the usb dongle is proper tiny!!!
Add that to the clever storage of it within the mouse and the travel pouch that comes with it too - Best product i think ive seen in its category in terms of thought thats gone into it and attention to detail. Really is a crackin product! I was very impressed (which is unusual lol)

Says on the packaging 6 months for average use, takes 1 AAA

I have this mouse, Highly recommended! It's a laser one and so is very accurate and works on most surfaces perfectly. The receiver is about the size of a Tic Tac!

By the way they are also £24.99 instore at Comet (that's where I bought mine)

I have the vx revolution but would prefer this because of the small dongle the on for the revolution sticks out a bit too much from my laptop and always am under the fear that it will snap when it's in the laptop bag

Aww got excited thinking I could pick this up for £19.99 :P

Still tempting at Amazons price of £24.46

I have the Microsoft Notebook BlueTooth mouse already (cost £22 only couple of months back) but this looks so much better.

This was £49 ten days ago in John Lewis Peterborough. I have one and its is a great bit of kit - top mouse.

PC World at Kensington High Street have stacks of these for £19.99 in-store. Check your local PC World because it is likely to be Nationwide.

Nice mouse. I have the VX revolution which is very much like the Nano.

I paid £35 for mine early last year and it is the best accesory I have ever bought for my laptop/netbook.
Highly accurate, great battery life and a pleasure to use.

An even better bargain at this reduced price.

This a great mouse for travel use with a laptop but anyone looking at at one for desktop use should really have a look at the MX range. Although this works very well with a desktop and is more comfortable than standard mice, nothing beats a full size MX. I have a MX1100 for use with my desktop and it is superb.

Agree, I have the MX1100 for code development @ work, once you've configured the (very, very, very) spinny wheel never to lock out on click it's wicked. 8 and a half hours of abuse everyday - I laugh at my wired colleagues.

I also have the last mini Logitech advertised on here for the 'one day' special that PC world did for home use on my lappy, runs very happily on the sofa, cushions or carpet. Again has the happy love you long time scroller. Mine looks to have a few more features over this mouse (back/forward buttons and zoom feature) Only down fall is the large usb dongle which this nano don't seem to suffer with - love to swap the dongles over!!!

That's the V450 not the VX model....I saw them too, the VX is £49.99 (I got them to price match against comet and got it for £22.49)

Prob a stupid question - How does the mouse charge? Does it come with a docking/USB charger? Or will it be AAA's (I suspecting it will be bat's)?

It runs on batteries. So have a spare one ready for when it runs out. I use standard rechargeables.

Best laptop mouse I have ever used. The receiver is so small I just leave it in my netbook. I

Gah I think i'm gonna go for this :-P the receiver is even smaller than my bluetooth dongle (the deal extreme one) and looking at ebay I should be able to get a good price on my Microsoft Bluetooth 5000 mouse.

Annoyingly my local comet doesn't have it. amazon it is then.

this is the best mouse for laptops. I got one of these for £30 in pc world last month and even at that price its well worth the money. It works on all surfaces i have tried apart from clear glass! The scroll is the best I've come across... 1 flick of the scroll and it will keep rolling! Or if u click the scroll then it will scroll slowly like a standard mouse. Also it takes 2 AAA batteries and you can see the battery life on your pc. When I checked on first use it said 161days battery life remaining so expect this thing to last over 5 months in constant use. The nano reciever is so small u'll never need to take it out of your laptop.

10/10

P.S. if i had another laptop i would buy one right now for £19.99!

Ordered last night and took 'advantage' of the free Prime trial offer.

Got an update email earlier informing me of the despatch times etc. They use City Link ugh...

City Link being one of the only couriers not even vaguely close to this area. Spoke to a helpful girl at Amazon though who is going to phone them in the morning and have the address changed to my work address :-)

Looking forward to this mouse now :-D

Girlfriend not as excited about it..

Argh no middle button. this is going to take some getting used to..

Otherwise though it looks and feels great :-)
