Basically, if you have a laptop an don't have very big hands then you need this wonderful mouse in your life

It's under the 'today only' section on the Scan website which effectively means the deal expires Monday midday Please note that the price will appear slightly higher until you put it in the basket then it will apply the extra price reduction

Even with the postage it's cheaper than just about anywhere else, eg Play.com are charging £50, which is good but not that good. However it gets better...

You now, like me, become entitled to free delivery on all your orders over £20 (excl VAT) from Scan forever onwards. This means that the price now becomes £29.36 which I'm convinced is the cheapest on the web and is a seriously hot deal for laptop users. Feel free to hit me with icey blasts if you can show otherwise . Can always collect it from the Scan shop too if you live near Bolton.

Even at this price I wouldn't have made this my first deal if I hadn't have bought one before Xmas and been so delighted with it. The most stunning part is that the USB signal receiver is so tiny you can leave it plugged into your laptop permanently. You can also store the receiver inside the mouse. It is suitable for left or right handed use, has lots of programmable buttons and you can either have rapid smooth scrolling or precise ratchet scrolling. Being a laser mouse it's sensitive and precise, making ordinary optic mice seem sluggish. It's got a nice little zip up case, oh and it comes with 2 AAA duracell batteries that last about six months - so it's not a battery eater.

Anyway I liked it so much I've now bought another for my Asus EEE mini lappy Have a look at the video and review links below and decide for yourself how good it is. As I said before, I think the only downside I can see is that it might feel a bit small for someone with very big hands.

Thanks for reading, apologies if I've missed any protocol as I'm new here

BTW: Fun fact for today: 'Logitech' is known as 'Logicool' in Japan because there was already an existing company called 'Logitec'
