Also says 'Scroll wheel' at the top so I assume it's mouse too.

Hmmm, not sure. The picture on Comet's website definately shows a wired keyboard.

I can see that wire yeah, confusing huh

Saying that i cant imagine a wired keyboard costing £70??

But there is all sorts of conflicting points aint there.

BFM

Agreed - pic is definately of this version though ]http//ww…8-2

Your right, removed the logitech pic to avoid confusion

Before purchase clarification would be needed i think, although if it is the wireless wave set its a good price

....and I can't understand why the OP's post states "Cables Included: 1 x USB cable - external ".

Sorry OP, not gunning for you, coz I definately wouldn't mind one of these myself if it's the wireless set.

Hi there
Will this work on a ps3??

If anyone fancies a bit extra off, they could always try a PC world price match?

PC World website mentions that the instore price for this set is £74.99, giving a 10% difference of £4.50, so total "could" be £25.49

off topic, I just noticed the update price promise at PC World, I see they've stripped down the list of websites they'll match against :x

I have emailed Comet for them to clear it up, when i hear from them (or if i hear from them ) I will update you

BFM

hmm ive reserved one just incase, will see what they give me at the till probably

cannot reserve at my local comet, just states not available for instore pickup . - whys that :x

Yup, I know Comet are included, but they used to have play.com & Amazon.

Anyone got theirs and can confirm its the full wireless desktop version?

just got reply from Comet.....

" Dear Mr *********

Thank you for your e-mail

Well I reserved and it states

Your Order
423009 LOGITECH WAVE WIRELESS DESKTOP SET (1)

So it must be the set we're thinking of. Certainly considernig PC World pricematch though. Think they hate me after the Sandisk 8gb pen drive which they had to knock £33 off for me. Oh well!

So how would go about price matching? Do I need to buy the keyboard from Comet & take my receipt to PC Word (& when they price match try and get a refund from Coment)? Thanks.

just picked mine up looks brill!

replacing a microsoft wireless photo keyboard that went funny

Can't find any Comet stores which have it available for collection in the South London area. However, you can now have it delivered for £5.95, making the overall price £35.95.

PC World, on the other hand, have an online price of £37.99, and seems to be available for collection at most stores. So if you're desperate, it's only a couple of quid more to go out and pick one up...

Hmmm...

Both are deffo good deals. Heat added.

I went and tried the one out in PC world thats on display. Nearly bought it via price match but think the keys are a bit too noisy for me. its not different enough from the lx300 set i have already! gonna just purchase a microsoft desktop 3000/5000/6000 sometime as the keys on them are soft and quiet like laptop keys!

oh and just incase, there were 2 of the Logitech Wave Wireless Desktop sets on the shelf in Swansea comet, plus I had reserved one which may have been around back. I didn't purchase so possibly 3 there available.
