Logitech Wired Illuminated Keyboard - £29.99 @ PC World (Instore)

Hi guys,

I was in PC World at the M6 J9 retail park today and saw this keyboard was on clearance. It's RRP is £69.99.

I have wanted this keyboard for a very long time, but unfortunately, they had none in stock, and told me that several stores in the same region had none in stock, but the guy told me the Clearance was nationwide. I thought I'd post this just in case someone does manage to save some money on it. Serves me right for wanting to wait and save, I suppose.

Good Luck!!

Any chance someone could send one to me? Happy to pay you via Paypal.

These are awesome keyboards!

Shame you cant stock check online......
If anyone finds one at this price bargain!
I quite fancy this but a trip to PC World is no fun.

With so many deals like this it would be cool to see like a community delivery service so those who are near can get stuff for people who aren't and earn a commission of some sort. Say this retails at £50, on offer at £30, I'd pay £35 for it now. Some member takes that through this site and gets, well, at least two of them from this thread alone and probably much more. Both Hotuk and the members could benefit and lazy buggers like me still get it cheaper than I would otherwise.

Ho hum.

Can anyone tell me if these are the ones with the "Stupid" "Enter" key like this??

Definately a great idea, especially with all the Tesco deal recently. I guess the only downside is the person that posted it has already been there so is unlikely to want to go back to the store... Still if there is a commission structure I guess they could... A lot of infrastructure for HOTUKDEALS to put in place through for payments to be made via the site.
Just popped over to my local Currys/PC World store.

Only display box out, was still priced at £69.99.

Didnt have time to ask as they were actually quite busy.
£69.99 is a lot for what looks like a basic keyboard. I had a quick look on amazon and there are illuminated gaming keyboards on there for approx £35. Surely they are better value for money than the RRP of this?... I know the deal is a lot cheaper than the RRP
I have 2 of these. Paid about £50 for each and really love it! The backlight is very pretty and the short travel on the keys is great. If anyone can find these i would highly recommend them at this price!! Heat added :-)

Probably right, a lot of work to setup and I'd probably be thrown out of the dragons den for bringing it as a business idea

The problem is some of the illuminated keyboards are terrible. I've owned a few. The lighting has to be just right so that the keys are easy to read and not washed out in the light and bright enough that they illuminate evenly all the keys. Seems surprisingly difficult to get that right and the reviews on this model look like they got it right. I'm not saying that there aren't good ones that are cheaper though, I haven't personally checked them all but I've been burned twice in the past on keyboards that looked good to me in writing but were useless at night. Both were mini keyboards and I've long forgotten the names.

I'm typing this on one of these keyboards and can tell you that no, UK ones aren't like that. The photo is of a US layout keyboard... see the usual US layout things such as # on the 3 key, no £ sign anywhere.

Also, a word of warning... the 'legs' at the back of the keyboard are quite thin and flimsy. Not a problem in normal use and I've never broken them, but if you're a gamer and prone to thumping the keyboard when you get killed by a spawncamper or something... probably not a good idea

Just asking because I saw a similar one in Curry's last week (Which DID have a stupid enter key) but refused to buy it as I'm one of those people that hit the enter key in the middle and would get a slash instead.
