Speaker reviews look excellent on amazon - voted hot!
I was considering a set of HK Sound Sticks II but I might be a cheapo and go for these instead!

These are great speakers for the money. I got these 2 years ago when they were £40 and I have never had a problem with them.

agreed.. good speakers for the money

this is the cheapest price for these speakers around - got them for my parents just before xmas - but i think this is just the standard price amazon charge for them.

Still best speakers around for the money though! :-)

I've got them speakers for about 2 years and can confirm they are brilliant, in fact my brother and one of my friends bought them as well straight after me.

Just got these for xmas, brilliant

can it go in your tv ?

If your TV has a 3.5 MM earphone jack.

Awesome speakers. Great bass, and amazing clarity. Bought some from Amazon about a month ago.

I've got these (well the 5 speaker version) and they are nothing special. The system I bought from asda for £25 is loads better and sounds better too. There is nothing really worng with them but from logitech I would expect better.
They are only really any use with a PC as they are not that powerful, there is no remote (the ASDA ones you can change source, adjust the outputs from each speaker , a master volune) Finally, the logitech only accepts one source so a pain if you use them for your TV and wanted to change from SKY to DVD etc.

To be fair, I think the primary purpose of these is intended to be with a pc.
For a home cinema i think you might want something a bit more powerful

Do you (or anyone else) know where I can find the 5 speaker+ version online please?

i think i have the same speakers but in the 5.1 variety, the X-530, they are amazing, the bass aint too distorting either, and for £40 odd it much better priced then other sourround sound packages.

thats the set i have got, i would recommend it if you are on a budget.

Great, thanks a bunch

for such a steep rise in price, i might just go for the 2.1 version though...

I got these about 10 months ago for £26 amazon. There were reviews out about these being the best sub £100 speakers, the reviews speak for themselves. I still use them and chuffed with this good buy.

Buy without regret!

I got these about a year ago great speakers for the money.

I also have the z-5500 for my 5.1surround sound, again great speakers but much more expensive.

I could be wrong, but isnt this the set of speakers that works with consoles (360 / WII etc) because it comes with a little Stero Photono to 3 headphone jack adapter?

Looks like this

I have 3 sets for the kids ipods. Great value, and yes i do have proper hi-fi ... British Hi-fi .... so do not denounce me "for we are Spart...... sorry .... Christmas Dvd overload.

the speaker set i posted comes with the xbox/ps2 adapter, it works with 360, but you have to use componant or scart connection.

for home cinema and you have alot of spare cash then i would recommend and onkyo 605 amp and kef3005 speakers- awesome sound (sevenoaks are doing an offer at the mo for £958 - speakers are 2006 versions, was £1400) - you would hard pushed to buy better for the money and unlike currys, etc they know what theyre talking about...of course it depends what you want the sound for.....spending 00's on decent sound system is prob an overkill for a games console tho

TBH if you're using £25 2.1 speakers then using componant instead of hdmi is the least of your worries :-D

Ive had this for nearly half a year now and its absouluty top notch. I recommend this for anyone looking for a good cheap sound system!

@ royals:

Why talk about a 958 pound set of speakers in a thread about a 22 pound set of speakers? It's not like somebody's going to think, 'Ooh, I fancy those for £22, i'll have a look what people have posted. Ah, this guy says there's some sweet ones for a grand, i'll get those instead'.

You are presumably insane, and possibly just wanted to boast about your overpriced speakers, which are no way 958/22 (43 odd) times as good as these.

Cheers

:-D:-D:-D it did seem a little out of place!!

voted hot, decent speakers and for that price you cant go wrong:thumbsup:

voted hot! cheers OP

I have these same speakers myself and they are totally excellent! I would recommend anyone to buy them.

I bought mine from eBuyer in March for £25 + free p+p.

Its now £25.99 !! :x:? !!

This should be put expired, since the present price is £27.00 !!! :?:?

Just bought these using my Amazon £2.50 voucher for £22.49 delivered - Cheers OP and :thumbsup:HotUkDeals!!

^LMAO this deal was so long back that when they were selling it, it was 22.99 delivered and not 24.99. So technically this deal is expired.

Just got some of these for myself, still a good price even @ £24.99 - they don't sound anywhere near as good as the speakers they're replacing, but they're a *lot* more convenient, thumbs up from me
