Saw this while browsing for my sisters birthday present, it was the cheapest I could find, I have the X-230's and the quality is great for the money, I hope these will be as good.

great price got these for 30 quid a month ago T.T

The x230 is a much better set of speakers though.

I wonder what that gaping hole on the sub woofer could be used for.

nice price,i agree the X230s are the business though love mine:)

just had a quick look what's the p&p comes £4.50 for me

I got a set of these from the Curries deal posted a few months ago, and they are crap. Mine have a loud whinning noise if you turn the volume up too much, wouldn't recommend.

Totally agreed. Bought a pair of these about 2 years ago, but it's quality is a way below the x-230. Wouldn't buy it, even for that price.

+1

I bought these too a couple of years ago and in addition to the noise I think the iPod dock is a flimsy gimmick.

However, the price is good so voted hot for those after a budget set that will do the job.

Got them for around £12 a year ago and think i payed too much. Would not recommend - they catch all the interference, I can even here some radio station from time to time.

good price

omg you explain why these are rubbish and agree with a previous poster who says they are crap...
then you vote hot.

Had these for almost a year. Speakers are decent. They pick up static from mobiles and radio stations (usually Classic FM) when they're on near-mute volume. Also when on high volume they make that 'MMMMMMMM' noise when nothing's playing.

However, they work fine for me as PC speakers and the line-in port is a nice feature when you want to use a portable player without switching on the PC.

Never used the dock, it's pretty crappy and my USB connector doesn't fit in any of the dock-piece things they supplied.

One small problem I have is that the subwoofer's bass is linked to the speakers so if I want to turn the bass down on the subwoofer (because it can shake the floor and make a racket at times) I will have to compromise the bass entirely.

Price is £17.99 + £4.99 = £22.98, not £19.97?

Not voted.
