Fill your room with big and balanced sound (25 W)

X)

I bought this a while back, for a similar price, was pleasantly surprised by how decent it is.

Voted got as a good product for a good price, but I wish there was a better range for a bit more cash.

After all this is hukd.

voted hot - these are good (I have them and also the Harman/Kardon Soundsticks on different PC's) but according to PC Gamer the Creative A250 (2.1) Speakers are better and a bit cheaper than the Logitech ones (£29.51 @ Amazon)

These are really good, especially if you don't like your TV speakers and don't wanna invest in expensive soundbars, mine are 4+ years old and still going strong...

I have some of these myself, they are more than loud enough, you don't need some silly 400w speaker to make the room tremble, which these can do when maxed by the way.

^sh!++ty soundbars.

I totally agree with you.

The sound from a speaker system like these will always be better than a soundbar. Better sound and cheaper. Essentially a sound bar is just more of the sh!++ty speakers they put in all TVs. Tiny, Tinny, Trash. They aren't discrete either, considering the tiny size of speakers available like these. I've always been impressed with the Logitech speaker range themselves. I have Z323, Z523 and Z506 (5.1). All bought for £25-£50. They all sound very good (don't care about audiophiles. We are talking £30 here), especially when considering the price and the size of the units. Paying more does make a noticeable difference when directly comparing them, but in isolation I can't tell between the 2.1 units at all.

The only problem I have with Logitech is the quality of the cosmetic finish. I've rejected many on the basis of scratched silver' plastic trims, dents, chips or even gouges in the laminated wood. I bought 5 of the 5.1 units before I'd acquired a 'perfect set'. Also had 2 Logitech units which emitted a very high pitch sound when on but not outputting any music.

Would hate the mega bass these super room filling system would achieve

I prefer clarity instead of boom, boom, boom which my Samsung TV does nicely when the equalizer is twiddled with...

These are a great way to improve the sound on any TV without being particularly obtrusive or overbearing in terms of the output.

Thought these are PC speakers?

my speakers have started playing up recently and I'm very tempted to buy these.
I just have to pull the trigger

I'd try the Kitsound contempo speakers which Vodaphone eBay outlet sell for ~£30 now and again. Have 3.5mm input and 40w power with some good bass. Better than soundbars but not a scratch on a full surround system of course

bought it..couldn't resist at the end

Bought it a month ago. Decent sound for its price

Ive received it today and im happy with it.
Its loud enough for me!

Anyone know if it is possible to connect this to a Samsung UE40KU6000?
The TVs speakers are fine but was thinking of enhancing it as well as using this for the laptop.

I bought the Creative A250 on the basis of that recommendation, but they have one of the most annoying features that I have ever encountered. They automatically turn off after 10 minutes of inactivity.

Does anyone know whether the Logitech Z313 keep turning themselves off automatically?
