I have this with my PC. I would recommend this for your PC and maybe a bedroom, but not for your lounge. This doesn't have anything like DTS:X Neural, so it won't upmix and give you nice surround sound with anything that's not encoded with DTS / DD. In reality most things are not encoded with DTS / DD so these speakers aren't going to come alive during most things you will use them for in your lounge. Soundbars these days have lots of virtual surround sound modes and upmixing modes (which this doesn't have) and also things like Atmos etc. I would choose a soundbar with sub over this any day of the week if I was purchasing for a lounge. The lack of HDMI is also a big thing to be lacking in your lounge. The control panel also looks crap and is crap - embarassing having that on display in a lounge unless you're a student or something. The sound is great for PC and it's the kind of cheap and cheerful system that is really meant for PC. Music plays well enough on it. I wish it had DTS:X Neural though or something similar. As a system it punches well above its weight and for the price it can't really be beaten on sound quality, but it's really old now and the lack of features is alot more noticeable these days than it was previously.

It was not an instant process, they take your details and then email you in 24-48 hours to let you know if you can setup the business account. There was a voucher offering £50 off a £100 spend going around earlier on in the year, it now looks like they are offering 20% off your first £100 spend.

Amazon 20% off your first £100 spend

Definitely worth getting if you have a business, as you can download VAT invoices and you get free next day delivery for all purchases over £30.
AW MAN!

Best deal of the year and it's business only? What a tease!

Still voted hot but steaming mad
Looking for a good deal on wireless surround sound system. Thought I found it
What do business men need with a system like this? It's mostly regular Joe's who are going to buy. Same thing happened last year if I remember correctly.
Currys currently have a great offer on this via a voucher code.

The only problem with this system is you have to use their volume remote and it's small, gets lost easily. You can't control volume from your TV if you want 5.1, however it does work with Logitech Harmony remotes very well.

Nothing. Just register new account, need to give them company name during registration. Probably they just checked company details in company house website. Account was activated after 10 minutes.
What business would buy a surround sound system designed for gaming? This daft promotion is going to lumber Amazon with a lot of fake 'business' accounts. I'm tempted but I've spent too much already this weekend...

Yeah this is my big complaint. I’m used to CEC now!
hmmm my other half was a "sole trader", though ended it around April ish.....wonder if could somehow use her details to create a business account. She didn't have any dedicated email address though
do we know why amazon removed 10 % discount from students on logitech products ?
Fantastic, off to cancel Curry's order now.
well I popped other halfs details in on her account, of course only a hotmail account, and there was no official company name or anything from back then - unsurprisingly, after a few minutes got the message saying unable to verify details. It did then say upload the first page of the short tax return (but not the main tax return) - Logged into the HMRC site to look at prev tax return, but can't see any option of how to even get a "short" one

Secondly it then wants either a letter confirming employment, or a business card or pay slip, and so on......they're not making this too easy. Uploaded page 1 of the regular tax return anyway, see what happens

Nope got it for £50 last time using similar method
Got this a few months back via amazon business, £99 think I paid. This is a cracking deal and the system is amazing. Sounds great, bass is earth shattering, this missus doesn't let me have it above level 3.

If anyone is looking for a new sound system, they won't be disappointed with this and at this price it's a nobrainer.

Would this work well as a main home cinema sound system? Just reading them being described as "pc speakers".. and wondering how they would stack up against just a sound bar and a sub
Buy if you can. They’re great.

They are proper surround for tv or pc. I connect via optical, works a treat. Sub is as good as any other, it’s just big low end. Top notch set honestly.
Does it say how long this deal will be available? Well have to try to find someone with a business account tomorrow then it's just too good.

I have mines plugged into my pc but I have read of people using it as TV surround speakers and being happy with the result. Sound quality will put many hi end sound bars to shame and has 3 different input types so should fit any system. Doesn't have arc and the separate remote would be a pain but worth it imo.
