I like that......Mmmmmmmmmmmm

I lke it

I have had a Z5300 for a few years and it has been pretty awesome, but I now want to replace it. The main reason, beside others, being because it has a lack of inputs. So the replacement is now here - and - it has exactly the same number of inputs - Duh! No HDMI, no advanced codec support - it appears it is just the Z5500 in a new case. I'm sure it does what it can very well but Logitech had the opportunity to update the the Z5500 to something more modern and they haven't bothered. Bit of a disappointment really, so for me Onkyo it is!

I currently own a Z5500 and love it. Is this going to be worth updating to? Any real improvements?

No point in upgrading. Its the same specs. Although you get one extra digital input. They dropped the LCD, no idea why and haven't included HD sound support.

A disappointing update from Logitech.

That is disappointing, been waiting for an update from Logitech for some time now. Want something that can offer the same as the Z5500 plus more.

Good price but pointless upgrade if you have a Z5500 already. Same power output, same inputs bar an extra optical. No support for HD audio formats still. No HDMI.

is this a replacement for the Z5500's?

Yes

is this one better than Onkyo s3305?

Thanks - used the code for 20% off a Harmony remote.

Don't forget the extra 5% off from quidco!
Ordered these speakers earlier this week and Quidco has tracked the extra 5%.

So go em for £250.04. That's an absolute bargain if you ask me.

So they arrived today and i've just finished watching Transformers 2. All i can say is; WOW!

Glad someone benefited. I myself was going to get these but in the end went for an Onkyo 506 amp and speaker package, £100 more but imo totally worth it.
