I'm still rocking my Z-5500 that I bought 10 years ago. If those are similar in sound then it's a good budget option.
I've got a logitech z 680 system on my pc and a logitech z5500 in a spare room with a TV and a custom 5.1 setup with dedicated receiver etc in my lounge. The custom setup blows the logitech systems away and I could never go back for movies and music, but I still think that for 95% of people, the Logitech systems are really good enough and better than a lot of the rubbish out there for the same price.
I've never heard this set of speakers but if it's similar to it's predecessors, then it's a good deal!

Wow....that was the price at last years prime deal
Great Price @Tacavas
good for movies not for music. my cheap £50 5.1 beats it for music due to dedicated tweeters.
Heat added @Tacavas , Well Spotted

lowest they've been in a while

fantastic set for the price

been using mine 4 years now and would recommend to anyone who doesn't have the time/money for a high end (£££) system

aww, nostalgic! I had something different years ago, was very happy with that set
I have a set of these and just to confirm, they are excellent for both movies and for music. You can select stereo to be split between all the speakers and the effect is excellent, highly recommend and may get another set for my PC setup, cheapest price I have seen these
Got mine plugged into the TV, superb 5.1 performance. Had these a few years now & they have never let me down.
I got this too. Decent set up. Very loud and the bass is good too.
Sounds good
I’m still using my Logitech X-530’s that are holding up quite well indeed after years of using them. Love Logitech stuff tbh, even their budget stuff is great
Logitech X-530’s distort real bad compared to thx - I have the prev version of these(z5500) and x530s which I no longer use.
I know it's a third extra money but if you can stretch to the yamaha setup from richersounds.com you will get a big step up in quality
Recently bought this so 2 tips:

1. This does not have HDMI so Dolby Digital Plus is not possible
2. If you are planning to use it with Nvidia Shield TV - 5.1 won't work in Netflix UNLESS you root the device and load extra codecs from XDA developers (allows conversion from Dolby Digital Plus to Dolby Digital)

Good set for the money!
Are these wired speakers?
I'm getting £139.98 :/

This pretty much sums it up as i agree with @kcajjones . I used to have a Z906 in my lounge for less than one year and switched to a custom Atmos setup (5.1.2). The Logitech is now in my spare room and servers me well.

The few points to consider here if going for Logitech z906
- It will not have HDMI ARC. You will need to use a universal remote (Logitech Harmony etc) if you want to control both TV and audio with single remote.
- The remote is quite simplified and you will need to look at the manual to understand how to adjust individual levels / reset.
- It will only decode DTS and Dolby Digital. so if you have movies with DTS HD Master / DTS:X or Dolby TrueHD / Dolby Surround etc... your TV will have to downmix them and convert to DTS and Dolby digital streams. Most of new TV's do this so should not be a problem if connected via Toslink cable. The loss in quality when this happens is unrecognisable.

The biggest thing to consider here with the Z906 is the value for money. At this price, what you are getting, can not be compared with anything else. It will beat any sound bar and the system is well balanced and THX certified. It is 500W RMS and 1000W peak.

Cant your TV do this if you select the audio to be DTS and Dolby via Optical Out?
I am sure my LG did this and never had problems with DD Plus...
Anyway to avoid p&p?
Even click and collect is showing £3.99

Same! I'm dreading when my Z-5500 dies! They don't make them like they used too.... or do they?! Has anyone got both, if so how does the Z906 compare to the Z-5500 please?

I've gone through my fair share of Z-550'S and Z906 - I'm no audio buff but imo without a side by side comparison they are on par with z-550s , I bought these years ago when they where around £280 or £380 i think and i'd still happily pay that much for them now, well worth this price!

Bought these in 2013 for £240 and they lasted until 2017 when they just stopped working.

I loved them though so bought them again, this time for £169 and all good so far. Hoping they last longer than the first set I had.
Does anyone know how to change the bass on this? I have it connected to my tv and can’t see anyway to reduce bass. Hard to watch tv with so much bass

Press the "Level" button on the remote once to highlight the sub (look at the lights on the power unit) and then the "-" (minus) button on the remote to reduce the subs output. You can do the same for the centre and side speakers.
For the price point they are great. We all know audiophiles can spend a lot of money to get the quality they require. These are what they are. I have had mine for over 5 years now and they do the job.
For some reason the voucher has applied but it says total £173.98? Is this normal for vouchers?

Tried to cancel but says it's too late

I loved the sound on my set as long as they worked, even CBBC sounded cinematic.

I soon found they were automatically switching themselves off every ten or fifteen minutes and never found out why. At this price, and if they work as they should, they are a bargain.
Has anyone got these and ever managed to program their TV remote to control volume? You have to do it with the little fiddly one that comes with it. We now juggle three remotes haha
This or Yamaha YHT1840 (Black)
5.1 Package System inc Speakers?
One of the satellite speakers on mine decided to kick the bucket (sounds super tinny now) and both Logitech and Amazon are unable to do anything about it...

Logitech says, not our problem go to Amazon

Amazon says, can't replace only refund as no stock

Well then, guess I'm living with one dodgy speaker
