I had this pre-ordered from Amazon.it, caught up in the scarcity excitement. I slept on it a day and then canceled it, I couldn't bring myself to spend that much on what is a tiny amount of stuff. Even when you see these things like xmas crackers and understand the 'value' is in the opening rather than the thing inside, the value is still horrendous.

Look up some of the images, or videos that show what you actually get in it.

I've got one of the little balls to go in a stocking and that pains me.

Thankfully this was just one item on a long santa list of plastic crap, not sure what I would do if this was the main request.

How to persuade a 6 year old girl that this is a waste of Money

You do what other parents do and just tell them, it does work and from an early age teaches them about money. You are allowed to just say no you know they don’t need to have everything they see.

luckily our daughter to to old for this now but wondered what it was and seems the LOL part of the name is really the company laughing at parent spending a fortune on rubbish.

It's saying oos on Argos website, but still letting you order on Argos app

Think this thing has kicked hatchimal’s ass this year.
The things we buy as parents.
My daughter hasn’t asked for this for thank god. She does want the twin hatchimal which I was able to get free in the argos 3 for 2. Be lying next to her dusty furby in no time.
I think I liked having money more than kids lol

I bet that I am the only one who spent 5 minutes trying to swipe the image before realising it was just part of the image

Oos

Reminds me of a lucky bag from my youth. They were rubbish as well but i still bought them.

Think for this load of tat parents really have to say no. Know it's hard but this toy is not worth £60.Company who makes it should hang their heads in shame

I did the same! Will get a £10 ball like you! Have told my 6 year old that she won't be getting the gold one! She was fine about it'

The contents are tiny.

I don't know if this helps anyone, but it is letting you order on the website. If you go straight to the ball, it's saying oos and no option to add.
But if you search for lol big surprise in the search bar, where a list of them comes up, there is a little trolley sign next to it, and if you press it, it's adding it for checkout

Even my 7 yr old says she doesn't want one now after seeing what you get in them she you tubed it and said don't want one now.

Blue peter taught us all how to make our own Tracy island surely they could knock this up in 5 or 10 mins....

Yes me too but they were thruppence.

Utter tat. Dont buy this. Maybe 5 quids worth of content if that. What a case of over selling

This is all my daughter has asked for this Christmas I’ve searched high and low. I ordered on argos app to deliver this evening so I’ll be interested to see if this order arrives. I know it’s £60 for a lump of plastic but in my opinion the £60 is worth the look of excitement on Christmas morning on my daughters face 🎅🏻

I've got 1 for my girls as a shared prezzie from Santa, there's tons of stuff in it, you actually get 4 dolls, not 1 as that attention seeker on Facebook is claiming, my 7 & 8 yr olds love their little dolls, so I know that they'll be playing with it throughout the year, it's an excellent toy, and tbf it's not really that expensive, unless you're a total scrooge.

.......and the ball is ideal to put all the little bits in to save them going up the Hoover, lol

I managed to get one for my niece (I just got it, not paying for it) in Toys R Us, lady says they do get a fair bit of stock so worth checking. All toys are cheap plastic tbh, must cost next to nothing to produce, etc. In all honesty it's fairly good value if you put any value in LOL stuff, even a small thing is about £6 so in that context it's OK.

It's what kids want, I don't see what the issue is. If you've got one because it's what your kids wanted (they don't understand cost and value) then no need to justify it to the "I don't have children, but if I did they'd get a satsuma in a sock" brigade

Best selling toy in the UK now?! What is going on....
