More details?
That hole?
Oh I mean my lovely local Capital city

EDIT - Heat by the way for the price.
I guess it's just the usual case of never appreciating what's on your door step, as it's just the norm. Great for visitors though.

We stayed two nights in the Liverpool Britannia. The first night we were in a terrible room which I think was usually let to DHSS, homeless folk. We told them we were leaving and they offered us a much much better room. So although I agree with Newbold above, it might be a great deal.
It's a very cheap price, but the hotel is truly awful. As long as you just want a place to crash and don't expect much you'll be OK!
Agree with the others. Britannia take once great hotels and totally trash them. Stay at your peril.
Crap hotel, and out in Canary Wharf where there's nothing going on apart from banking.
Stayed here a fortnight ago, this excuse for a Hotel is a knocking shop that caters too the financial district.Avoid like the Plague.

It’s alright in the week.
Worst night of my life was at the Britannia hotel in Manchester.
