Remember baggage soon knocks the price up a bit and transfers from Sanford as well if your are not hiring a car.

Still hot though as it's the best price I can see at the moment and i've been looking daily for a while now.

whats the baggage like with these guys ?
awesome deal! if only I was not working
Brilliant deal!

I fly over to the states once a year to see family and friends, and i usually pay twice that much! If is was this price a few weeks ago i probably would have flown over!

You do have to bear in mind baggage charges, which for me with just one checked bag aren't too bad, as some airlines have one item of international checked baggage for free. But for a family it can definitely add up! Though bear in mind you typically get one carry on item and one "personal item" (Handbag, backpack etc)

Also the breakdown between fare and taxes/fees makes me sad.

£149 tax on a £209 flight, that's harsh.

Does that include fuel usage for the flight or is that tax on fuel? If that's just tax on fuel then I can't see how the airline makes cash on that deal.

I think some of the base fare used to go to fuel, but when the fuel prices went up a fair while ago everyone introduced fuel surcharges to cover the additional cost. Then they stuck with the surcharges even when fuel went back down. I think that charge probably covers the entire fuel cost now, and the old contribution to fuel goes into the coffers.

I know Gatwick/Heathrow and the like take a big cut of the taxes and fees though.

I would fly all the time if it was just the cost of the base fare!
Who needs baggage.
