Good deal...might just get myself down to Oistins on a Friday for rum and flying fish butty.
wanna pop up a link to the flight or is searching the date and destination the best bet?
Wife never wanted to go the Windies but we ended up there on holiday last year.

Jamaica

No she went of her own accord.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHSHSHSHBYV
I take it this is just for the flights?

Link seems to muck around. Go to Flights --> Late Deals --> pick Gatwick and Barbados and it'll come up.

Honda Accord?
Didn't know they could fly or float.
HOT
if this wasn't next week, and say a month later, I'd have already packed my bags and gone
I'm getting nothing when I click to go to the deal, just a generic page of Thomson links.

If I type in the dates you've provided for Barbados, I get Per person £1545

??
5kg hand luggage, not too much for 2 weeks :D. Anyone knows how the weather is going to be in barbados, do I just need swimming trunks and that is it?

Obviously not putting it in right, mine comes through at £298
anyone knows how seriously thompson handles the luggage restrictions, if more than 5kg are in the handluggage?

Whether it was next week or a month's time, how could you have gone already?

Oh, hold on, maybe you have been in a month's time and now you're actually back? What was it like?
Found it by clicking on Late Deals, Flights, then Flight Deals and searching on 18 March dep date. However, result for £293-odd comes up, but, when u click on the price, it says "We're sorry - we couldn't find any flights that match what you asked for. We suggest you try searching again using different dates or airports. Alternatively, view our flight timetable."

Dunno why I even tried it as I wasn't even planning on going!
Can't deny it's a cracking price - if it's available that is.

Voted hot, even though my wife works for VA and gets 7 free flights a year - plus we live less than 2 miles from Gatwick!

Thing is that taxes are £90 or so - great last minute deal. Although I understand accommodation is expensive and mediocre in Barbados. We can go there for nothing but were put off by the expense and quality of hotels - unless you're happy to pay big money for a top notch hotel.

The deal is for flights only, you appear to be searching late deal package holidays

I tried it too - by going through the flights link.

It comes up ok and I went through to booking page - but says there are only 5 seats left. Plus £100 for 2 bags (£50 for each 20kg bag) takes the price to £687.96.

Still a pretty good price if you can go short notice, but again I understand the hotels are expensive and food/drink too.

However, would I fly to Barbados with Thomson? Not judging by the size of their planes - far too cramped for my liking.
No wonder Thomson are struggling financially and selling all their last choice (oops sorry) first choice aircraft if they are having to sell long haul flights this cheaply! The taxes alone are over £100!

Great deal though and probably the last year you will see Barbados flights at these kind of prices!!
Odd - sometimes it lets me through to book, sometimes it doesn't & I get the error I mentioned. 2 flights showing now, the one with 5 seats left is £363.98 before extras, but is 7 nights. The £293.98 one is for 14 nights.

2× Adults £358.76
2× Adult meals £0.00
2× 1 Check-in item £100.00
Taxes & charges £259.24
Web saving -£30.04
Total price: £687.96

Price of flights is really good imho, sadly not ever even considered going to Barbados, so can't comment on price of hotels & food!

It says in the title "flights", not holiday package, didn't think you needed to be einstein to work that one out.

I flew to barbados with Thomson in january and theres planty of room, i found there was more room than on a virgin plane! Just dont stay in the barbados beach club hotel as its a dump. Turtle beach is amazing though.
Is it just for the flight only or a package with flights and accommodation? Would you mind to send the link please. Thanks a lot.
anyone looking for a decent price on accommodation try bargainv.com I have used them for a 2 for 1 accommodation at the Barbados beach club at the price they did it for can't grumble and cracking position on the beach. You need to email them and they call you back but once you speak to them they are great, couldn't do enough for me sorted my car hire and even some trips before I even got there!
Not sure why, but I booked now this deal from Glasgow ... £257 return which is quite incredible. Sorted also out some cheap accommodation for 8 days so far, I am staying in a single room in Desert Rose, St Lawrence Gap for £17 per night. Anyone knows if that is a good area with good beaches and some evening entertainment. Still have to book 6 more nights, any suggestions for other places that need to be explored? Unfortunately, chaulmoogra I am traveling alone so the 2 for 1 deal is not good for me!

Many thanks!
Woah, I'm going to Barbados
Woah, back to the palm trees
Woah, I'm going to see my girlfriend
Woah, in the sunny Carribean sea

For 2 people, after adding 1x Baggage each, this totals: £687.96

But, don't forget about the £2,000 - £5,000 hotel costs
£50 per bag?
Bet I could buy 2 weeks worth of summer clothes in Barbados for less than that!!
lileddie

Why do you need expensive hotels? All you need there is the beach! For the poor people like
me there is accommodation available in single rooms starting from £17 per night. Hopefully I will survive that!

What? Nouns having capital letters? Basic grammar they teach to 7 year olds?

If you had any education, manners or anything between your ears other than 6 day old Domino's pizza, you'd be clever enough to construct the sentence properly:
"Don't think you need to be Einstein to work that one out."

Guess what? You don't need to be Einstein to work that one out. Just remain as you are - an illiterate, stupid, smug chav c@unt

You thought you'd come back and repost that nasty bit of vitriol word for word, just to have the last say? I think emiratesstadium was spot on.

He insulted me twice before I replied. And when the "off topic squabbling" was removed, they didn't remove his belligerent remarks. So if his insulting "einstein" remark stands, mine should stand too.

If anyone is reading, flights are SINGLE and RETURN. When I saw "14 nights", I assumed it was a package deal. Simple mistake to make and emiratesstadium had to be cheap and insulting about it. Well, we can all do that. End of
