I was baffled myself by the cold votes.

I guess some people do not know who the airline are and so just vote cold for no other reason.
Ive done alot of reading on there service and they have just bought in a brand new fleet of Airbus A330, and have no problems with safety records. If you looked at booking with anyone else you can double that price and then add on some more. I guess it depends how much value you put on some plane food and drinks.

Thanks edi.

jeez. i am just home from malaysia and it was 750 return (although we returned from Bangkok)

ps. the air hostesses on air asia flights are out of this world

awesome deal..

Careful about protection if the airline goes bust! Who knows what might happen in like a few months time....

But agreed, its a cracking price to fly to Malaysia, as it will normally cost upwards of £400. £198 return is amazing, even if you have to add extra for lugggage and food.

Also, you can connect on to several Australian destinations using Air Asia, hence getting a cheap trip to Aussieland. Otherwise there's loads of flights from KL international airport to destinations around area. Air Asia fly to loads of South East Asian cities for peanuts too.

Pay By CREDIT CARD...you'll be protected if the airline goes tits up

HOT! Typical return flights cost like £700. Have been waiting for AirAsia to fly to the UK for several years now since I started studying here in the UK.

Did you hear Joe Swash on IACGMOOH insist he had 3 stops en route to Australia, 'Kuala, Lumpur and Sydney'.

i have seen too many of these cheap flights go in to liquidation and then had the problems of trying to arrange alternate flighta at 10x the original cost

Air Asia are huge in malaysia and the rest of asia (Air Asia X is a subsidary of Air Asia, I believe). They offer ridiculously cheap internal flights around malaysia, most of which cost around £10-£20 depending on how far you want to fly. They are very good (at least when I went on them) and have a remarkable turnaround time - planes literally take off half an hour after the previous landing!

We took around 6 internal flights on our 20 day holiday to malaysia, all of which were with air asia. They are very flexible in changing flight ticket times - this can be done online (instantly) for free (depends on how late you leave it - its free several days in advance from memory) - this is unheard of in this country!

Everything was in the form of e-tickets - all you needed were the unique ticket numbers. Highly recommended - makes me tempted to go back to malaysia/ south east asia for a holidayas malaysia is an amazingly beautiful country!

just read the news earlier and hot! I just booked my ticket to Malaysia from Belfast through Amsterdam for £459 flying with KLM. This could have saved me loads!

Wow !??! Stunning Value !!!!!!

;-)

:xNot offering any connecting flight to Sabah

The reason it's so cheap is because it is a promo offer, they have just started flying from UK and are a established company no doubt the price will go up after the promo.

yep, this is very hot - had Google alerts for 'air asia x and manchester' for about a year now - they did have plans to do it from Manchester.

I've flown with these guys on numerous occasions - both short and medium haul and I was very impressed. I read a few years ago that they were the fastest growing airline in the world, and I really doubt they'll go into liquidation.

Anyway, great deal in my eyes. Especially as KL is now the BIGGEST hub to the rest of SE Asia, and in fact Australia, China, India etc.

Im booking tonight. do they have Tvs? and you can pay extra for a exit row. h & r!

Thanks, been waiting for this for over a year, it gets me a bit closer to my daughter in NZ

Air Asia X are the Ryanair of SE Asia. Been gonig for a few years now.
They have load of routes.
Flights are stupidly cheap.

They do KL to Australia flights too.
So UK - Australia could work out much cheaper if you do it this way.

Only Malaysia Airlines fly direct from the UK. Otherwise you'll have to go via somewhere.
Prices can be as little as £349 and it's full service. TV screens, ok legroom, good food/drink, good service. So check prices for your time of year.

Within asia for short hops they are great.
Bangkok to Phuket for example is £30 whereas Thai Airways charge £130.

Long haul. We'd have to see. But they are probably better than most US airlines who seem to be going budget and still charging full prices.

Thanks

£99 single is inc taxes

Air Asia abolished them a few weeks ago. That is the price you pay.
