Just be careful using that 0900 096 0000 numberif you need to. Calls cost 49p per minute.

Hot from me though

Have seen these buses around town. They look pretty swish

Thanks for the code, OP - most useful. But prices are from £1 without the code not £3.72 - plus a 50p booking fee per order.

And yes, the coaches are rather nice and it's lovely to be able to get into town at a reasonable time rather than waiting for SWT to give us an off-peak fare.

Hopefully these are more reliable than the US version! Horrible experiences with them. The worst being when they cancelled the entire days schedule because they were "busy" and just crammed people onto buses as and when they arrived. Frustratingly, (for a 14 hour journey) we were crammed into a 20 year old bus, and not the new modern one we were meant to be on, and when had to get off at the border, the new spacious modern bus pulled up behind us with just 3 passengers on it!

It was America, how many seats did those 3 passengers have each?

did you not read the comments?

Interesting but the inaugural trip to London broke down due to fuel problems.
Passengers were given taxis to London and a discount on their ticket.
This was as on radio 4 You & Yours live programme.

Thats happened once so you can't judge the entire service on it.

Plus getting a discounted ticket and a free taxi is good compensation for that - much better service than Greyhound USA.

heat added

can someone also post deals for staying in isle or whyte & cheapest ferry... I want to plan a full trip.

If anybody travels on one, or has traveled on one, let me know what it was like. I don't live near Portsmouth or Southampton and would be interested in what it is like!

Sounds good and im guessing most students around here would like this especially with the free wi-fi.

However, i'll stick to the £3 advance train tickets from portsmouth to London Victoria as its slightly cheaper and quicker

its still a good deal
