By the way, the £1 insurance is optional. Uncheck this box to get the 99p rate.

I just selected some random dates in October...virtually every fare was 99p

This is because Greyhound Coaches have started in the UK on this route @ £1 also!!

GREAT OFFER THOUGH!

Great picture!
There's even a woman pushing...

She's just pretending

Voted cold. Searched some dates came to £57 for 2 adults and 2 children. Cheaper and more flexible to get the train

i wouldn't book judging by that picture

Looks like the availability dries at the end of November i'm afraid.

love the photo, and this quote from the article:
"We heard an awful noise that sounded like 20 Challenger tanks" - Im sure they get a lot of those in Mildenhall!!

may look hot, but its wrong to use it.

This is only because of the new greyhound coach service, which has better seats and wifi and power sockets, at £1 for the same route.

Really UK coach companies are scum, scum I tell you. My area is dominated by 1 bus operator, when a rival service tried to start up they went behind following the bus and offering fairs for 1p. Like fools people paid their 1p, then the rival service vanished.

This has leather seats, wifi etc too...competition is always good for the consumer and is certainly not a reason for them to ignore a good deal.

£57 for a bus leaving Portsmouth 20th November at 4pm ish, return next day at around 7pm.
£54.60 for a fully flexible train ticket with a family railcard. 2 adults 2 children

yes, £57 is not a hot deal for a bus journey, unlike most cold voters I will give a reason. I will join the Forum with a different email, just to vote it cold again, just for your compassionate reply to my previous post.:thumbsup:

Cost of family rail card? £24 is it not?

no £26, but got one for £13 using a code in July, used it once already and it saved me £42 on 1 return train journey to London.

Carry on being idiotic if you like....no skin off my nose

Virtually every date in October and November is available for 99p...that in my humble opinion is a good deal. Voting cold just because the specific date you wanted was not available is more than pathetic but hey...fill your boots if it makes you feel better. :whistling:

Plus, please don't lie for effect. The funfare for 2 x Adults 2 x kids on the dates/times you want is £40 not £57. In fact for 3 tickets it comes out at £5.96....unfortunately the 4th one bumps it up to £40 becuase presumably there's only three of the 99p seats left on this journey?

National Express have always been pretty good when I've gone with them - minimal delays and always a fairly comfortable journey. Ok its not going to be as quick as the train but thats why you can get funfares such as this one. Well worth looking into if your not in a mad rush to get somewhere!
