Lone Survivor on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray is 4 times sharper than HD. Brilliant brights and deepest darks with HDR (High Dynamic Range) and wider colour spectrum adding dazzling colours to your viewing experience. Also includes Blu-ray copy and Digital Download to watch anywhere on all your devices. SYNOPSIS Based on The New York Times bestselling true story of heroism, courage and resilience, Lone Survivor tells the incredible tale of four Navy SEALs on a covert mission to neutralize a high-level al-Qaeda operative who are ambushed by the enemy in the mountains of Afghanistan. Faced with an impossible moral decision, the small band is isolated from help and surrounded by a much larger force of Taliban ready for war. As they confront unthinkable odds together, the four men find reserves of strength and bravery as they stay in the fight to the finish. Mark Wahlberg (The Fighter, Contraband) leads the cast as Marcus Luttrell, the author of the first-person memoir “Lone Survivor,” whose book has become a motivational resource for its lessons on how the power of the human spirit is tested when we are pushed beyond our mental and physical limits. Starring alongside Wahlberg as the other members of the elite team who gave everything for their brothers-in-arms are Taylor Kitsch (Savages, Friday Night Lights) as Michael Murphy, Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild, television’s Bonnie and Clyde) as Danny Dietz and Ben Foster (3:10 to Yuma, Kill Your Darlings) as Matthew “Axe” Axelson. Eric Bana (Star Trek, Hanna) joins the core team as Erik Kristensen, their commanding officer in Afghanistan.

The charge is already in the title for non prime
Good 4K price, but still too much for an average film I think. There's still only a handful of 4K films out that I would pay the huge premium over standard Blu-ray to get. And this ain't one of them!

Is now, wasn't when posted.
Amazing film 😁
I was genuinely surprised how good this film was, really fancy watching it again, so it's a no brainer. Ordered!
Decent film. However, the title's a bit of a spoiler

Try the book instead. Much better than the movie.
From realorfake4k.com:

"It is not real 4K in any material way due to having a final master at 2K.

You can get this from zoom for £10.81 with there 10% off first order code

.

I invested in 4K 6 months ago and have a grand total of 10 UHD discs. I'm only buying films I know for a fact will get multiple plays this time around. I still have a pile of Blu-rays not even unwrapped!

Stopped buying them if they are not full 4k. There is a huge difference between these upscales and those that are the real deal.
For anyone interested Passengers is one of the most stunning 4k films I have seen.
Real/fake 4k is such a dumb argument. It ignores the other benefits such as HDR and DTS:X/Atmos sound.

I didn't particularly enjoy the film but I was blown away by the image quality.

Of course, but I suspect a very low percentage of people invested in 4K have an Atmos-ready system too. I am going in after the summer holiday but looking at the back of my 10 UHDs, less than half have Atmos.
