That's only where they're assembled, the component parts are mostly made in the far east. I've worked at the Servis washing machine factory in the Midlands about 11 years ago when they went bust, Servis where not the most reliable machines so where they're actually 'made' isn't always relevant.
Thanks for the extensive checklist. I'v ticked all them boxes. Just been on with Bosch. Have an engineer coming over on Monday. As its still under warranty should be sorted soon fingers crossed.
Please remember not all bosch now are made in germany. Read the label on back off app when your at the store or whatever. Some are being made in china and poland
Exactly my thinking LOL. I have a dishwasher (different make) that has a 5 year warranty on parts only, what they don't tell you though that a standard callout is £120 to fit those 'free' parts.
Unless it is suspension - very unlikely on a new machine - then you can probably fix this yourself. Check filter - if it is blocked, there will still be water in the drum when it spins. Check feet are level. Check you have removed the transit bolts. Check you aren't overfilling it - there should be at least 15cm space on top of the washing without pushing it down. If there is too much in then the machine can't balance the load. And, if it is more of a rattling noise, use a torch to check there isn't a coin or similar stuck in the drum, It is very, very likely user error rather than a fault with the machine. Remember, drums have got larger but the size of the machine has stayed the same. So things you may have got away with in a smaller machine won't work in a larger capacity machine.
