Does this come with the screw attached to it on the back? I want to add some knobs to my sideboard but I'm scared it will crack it, + worried the screw is too long, how hard would it be to cut it ?

All knobs will come with a fixing screw, unlikely they will crack it crack the sideboard unless you are really going some tightening it up. The fixings are a mild steel (and generally a standard m4 or m6 bolt if you need to buy a longer one) so cutting them down is not a problem if you have a hacksaw or Dremel and something to hold the screw in while cutting.... Watch out for the heat and the sharp edges when you are done though.

Thank you. Assume the fixing screw is already attached to the knob?
My wife asked me to find her a big black knob. Screwfix to the rescue again

Also, you use a normal drill to drill the hole into the cupboard door?

The knob will come with a threaded hole in it (snigger). The screw jus pops in there. If in doubt nip into screwfix and ask to see one. They are usually pretty helpful.

Aw the mods have spoilt it

Thanks.
I bought some from Zara Home and they came attached already so looked a bit of a pain to install. Will go check these out

Just be mindful of just what you are asking to see
If you're not happy with your knob then replace it. Knobs come in all shapes and sizes
Any double sided ones?
This knob a bit knobbly for me
Looks posh

Pick a knob you like the look of. Go to the store and ask to see their knob. Then you can touch and feel the knob and see if you need to screw the knob or not. If you like you can ask to see a few knobs and decide if they need to be screwed there and then. Asking the knobs on here isn’t going to get you a answer to your hard knobish question...
Thanks. I've only got a little knob, so it could be time for an upgrade

To avoid cracking wood, drill a pilot hole insead of creating the hole with the screw. Make the hole slightly smaller than the screw.
Rinsed, thanks. Will tell the client they are solid copper and about £30ea.
