I have all six volumes. sadly that is all they are gonna release in the series. Also, volumes 5 and 6 were not released in europe. However, all US volumes were not region coded so UK buyers can buy them without worry.
Just over 2 quid each disc for the priveledge of seeing these uncut and remastered toons is a bargain. And considering they are rarely shown on TV nowadays. (thanks to the PC police). Kids are gonna grow up not knowing who Foghorn Leghorn is!

Says who? Boomerang (on Sky) show Loony Tunes every day, and my kids (especially the 5yr old) love them.

an hour slot of censored cartoons on a satelite channel is not the same. When was the last time they put a speedy gonzalez cartoon on tv . I remember the BBC used to put them out before saturday night tv started. Also ITV used to show them regularly.Cartoons that have characters percieved to have any kind of racial stereotype are rarely seen (foghorn, pepe le pew, speedy,Yosemite Sam)
I never said kids wouldnt know who bugs bunny was. Also, any kind of extreme violence(dynamite in mouth, being shot in the face, eye poking etc) are all no no's now. You're child deserves to see Bugs Bunny trick Elmer Fudd into shooting Daffy Duck in the face, it's every child's right.

Let's see - last Speedy Gonzales cartoon - must have been Friday/maybe Saturday. Can't remember the title, but Daffy Duck was trying to kill Speedy to get membership to a hunting club.

Same batch also had Bugs vs. Sam trying to recapture the singing blade.

They also show the Bugs/Fudd/Daffy lot - have you actually watched this channel? All the characters you mention are on - Pepe le Pew is probably the rarest, but all the others, and the violence is there.

Erm have you seen the uncensored versions? when was the last time they put Rabit seanoning or All this and rabbit stew. They are the old cartoon network versions censored to f***k. did you not read my link??? These dvds are the only way to see these uncensored.

These cartoons never where designed for kids they where originally shown before or after movies or between double bills. it's only TV that seemed to pigeon hole them as kids entertainment, the humour is very adult with alot of Hollywood Movie parodies slotted in ,I Have volume 3 which has a monologue by whoopi Goldberg explaining about the racist content and how it should not be censored.
