Just tried this for the first time since finishing my stockpile of the old carte noire coffee. It never seems to be as cheap as the the old stuff which used to be £2 a jar when on offer. Also it tastes different to me. Need to find a new coffee brand me thinks

This is not a carte noir. This is
Tchibo like cheap coffee in black tin looking like carte noir. It s taste much worse. They think they will switch to cheaper stuff and we wont see a difference. Like hugies wipes they ve changed packaging and putted 56 instead of 65 thinking nobody will see a difference. Here is more on coffee cheat: hotukdeals.com/dis…702

Pretty sure that stuff used to be bellow Nescafe original which in turn is below gold etc. Sure I remember it being in Pound shops years ago for a decent size. Good to give to builders and unwanted guests.

Nearest I can find to carte noir is Nescafe Alta Rica
......this L'Or stuff is

this is yuk,

Thats not a deal. Normal price if ure shopin at b&m and all of that..

It's still under £5 per 200 grams in B&M but everyone is right they have sneaked the price up after the new packaging. Morrisons is the worst offender because they have it 'on offer' at £5 per jar but the jar only has 165 grams in it. Naughty.
