The L'Or ones are similar to genuine caps, made of aluminium

The newer ones which Tesco stock are aluminium but I suspect that these are the plastic ones.

Good to know, my Poundstretcher stopped stocking them, I thought they’d run out of the old stock
I got a SAGE Nespresso plus machine for Christmas, it’s amazing.

It’s difficult to know which of the capsules are good and which aren’t. Those who have tried these, any good?

I went in to the Nespresso flagship on London, I couldn’t believe how big it was. Nespresso have done an incredible job with their branding.

In my opinion these are as good as the Nespresso capsules
So once you've emptied and rinsed, these can be put in the standard recycling bin, I assume?

I wonder what you are seeing that I am not. The picture shown in the OP is the old stock i.e. plastic pods.

I have that machine and love it too, we buy the aluminium ones of these and prefer them to the nespresso ones

The main thumbnail (not the first posted photo) shows aluminium.

The website however shows the old stock.

But in reality I don’t think either are certainties. What you get in-Store is anybodies guess 😁
The ones in my local have always been the old style individually wrapped plastic ones. They work fine in my pixieclips nespresso machine. I like to put my capsules in a revolving dispenser on the counter now which you can’t do with the plastic ones (they are partially open with holes at one end and I presume would go off) so I now get the new style L’Or aluminum capsules from Costco 10 boxes at a time.

The ones with holes in are alright, it's the plastic ones with no holes that don't pierce properly e.g. Sainsbury's own. Lidl ones are just like these, individually wrapped and with holes and make a very good cup!

Yes there’s nothing wrong with the coffee they are just a pain to store

agree they're the only serious alternative; Aldi plastic ones are passable in the flavoured varieties like caramel which masks the quality of the coffee in milky drinks

None in my local store unfortunately. Just some jars of L'or for £2.69 and loads of the Tassimo pods.
That said, they did have Emmental flavoured Pringles and some big bags of Mackies crisps for £1.

Added: Checked the other local store and they had some boxes of the strength 4 and 8 varieties. Capsules were wrapped individually in foil in the box (some bashed and open).
