Please shop responsibly. As Coronavirus uncertainty develops, we are seeing a lot of community demand for basic household items. Please do consider others - we all need to work together to ensure everyone gets what they need. So please don’t stockpile, and perhaps offer to help older neighbours, family or friends by sourcing items for them.

With Spring approaching and my hayfever kicking off, I tried to go online for some Loratadine (in short Clarityn) which is usually 99p for 30 tablets or the 6 months pack, but the 2 or 3 Pharmacy sites had a delivery date of minimum 1 week some longer, or out of stock on Amazon.

Whilst doing my 'essential' shop in Tesco Goodmayes i thought i would buy a small pack of 7 or 14 tablets to get me through until my online delivery arrived. On the shelf on the shopfloor they only had Clarityn and a
- 14 tablet pack was £5.50 or 2 packs for £6,
- 30 tablets was £9.65 or 2 packs for £12

However, if you ask the pharmacy they have Tesco branded packs of 30 tablets for £2.75 behind the counter.

Whilst it is not the cheapest, in case of feeling miserable because of hayfever dont spend the silly money on Clarityn get behind the counter and ask for the secret stash.
