Just noticed a pile of these on the shelves in the Byres Road store.

Yep, it's not the extended but for the price it's a wee upgrade over my old theatrical DVDs! When the extended set comes down to this price, that's when I'll snap it up ;-)

I could never track one down when the Sainsbury's deal was on so just snapped one up with a few other bargains!
Blade Runner - The Final Cut (2-disc blu-ray) £6
Die Hard 4 movie blu-ray boxset £5
True Grit/No Country for Old Men double blu-ray set £5

All makes for decent stocking fillers I'd say!

The beast known as the Fopp are a rare species only seen in certain geographical locations. Those who have seen one are considered very lucky amongst the human race.

For a fiver it's worth a shot, and the theatricals are definitely the right versions to get into... they're long enough as it is without starting off with the extended editions!

Forgot to say, Glasgow. We've two branches, Byres Road in the West End, Union Street in the city centre.
Fopp deals nearly always tend to be national though.

Thanks just what i looking for cant bear sit through the extended version.

No more disks? Not likely. Same was said about vinyl who's sales went up a lot this year. Besides which if you own the disks your never going to be unable to obtain a DVD or blue ray player to spin them on.there are plenty of companies still making vinyl players for all the vinyl still out there

Personally now is the best time to own a high end DVD player like I do. The disks are so cheap and the quality still excellent that I only really look at blu rays when they are super deals.
