£24.99 at amazon (next cheapest).....

Holding out for extended peronally....

Thanks ,,, great deal !

Still not tempted, but good price if you like long trailers for the real films!

Heat added.

Just can't watch the regular versions without feeling cheated now.. Good price, but will wait for the extended versions.

Waiting for extended, already have this version on DVD

i've read a few times that these are bad HD rips of the movie, so i would avoid these for now till they do the Extended Blu Ray rips.

Like others have said not even £20 is enough to tempt me from waiting for the extended editions, with the DVD edition film being split over two disks and all extras being on further disks the bit rate is very high and upscales very well, so suffices for now.

"Waiting for extended" etc

At this price buy them and sell them on EBay when the extended comes out

HOT

I've seen part of Fellowship on BR at a friends house and I thought my DVD version looked better. As with others, I'm waiting for the real deal and full, hopefully better quality discs!

Cause you watched it on Samsung LCD

^^^ lol

Bluray extendeds I hear will not be released until 2012, to coincide with the cinema release of the Hobbit

These keep popping up cheap, because presumably nobody is buying it as most people are waiting for the extended. Also meant to be a pretty poor transfer.

Not voting cold though as good price if you do want it.

just not sure why ppl keep posting waiting for the extended additions - you might as well say your waiting for it to come out in 3d - its not available and probably wont be for a good 18 months!

as for the poor review you mention they gave it 4 stars - said it was better than dvd in terms of picture quality and def sound and from memory not read that artical for a while but only raised real issues with the first movie - this is the best way available to currently watch these 3 movies and £20 a steal!

If it were £14.95, I would pick them up even if I prefer the extended versions.

I dont mind buying without the extention but everybody who has bought the film is saying the same thing from Amazons reviews about waiting for the extention. So it sounds like this will be falling in price.

I don't remember what TV it was!

Not sure if this is the type of film that will benefit from a blu ray transfer, will stick with my dvd's for now

Awful picture quality, dont bother with this horse ****.

Good deal so heat added but I also have on DVD so waiting for the extended to go Blu-ray.

Wut.

This is the kind of movie that blu-ray was made for. It's a shame it's poorly done and not the extended version.

I guess it boils down to whether you already have the DVD's, which most people do.

If you dont then fantastic price for 3 wonderful films, if you do then probably not worth it.
