Actually bought this one after a few days of deliberation, I need something to keep an eye on the beer brewing as the temps in my place can be a bit all over the place in the Winter, been a pain with my current thermometer being so small. I should be able see this across the room at least (Shout at it / voice activated) Not a bad looking thing either.

It's a little more than some of the others posted recently, although I think it should be worth it, especially as it looks like a small TV for a hamster

It will be bad enough sticking that thermometer under your tongue. But I am leaving the room if the doctor wants to stick that up my bum!

I bought one of these, it broke when I tried to plug in the mains leas. It just fell to pieces, it's just really poorly made. Stick to something like OregonScientific for better quality.

I have an Oregon Scientific wireless one, the satellite thermometer regularly loses its connection with the base station no matter which channel I use, even if both devices are in the same room! I bought it to wirelessly monitor the temps in a camp fridge but its next to useless as the low battery symbol always appears at fridge temps whatever battery I put in.

My Oregon Scientific has been going for about 12 years, normally pretty well. The only time it loses connection is when I change the receiver batteries so looks like you got a dodgy one.

Not sure how it can be a weather station without an outdoor sensor, unless it’s telling you the indoor weather

How do these things know the weather? Connect to a satellite?

Not so clever I'm afraid they just sense the humidity in the air, some might measure atmospheric pressure but you'll probably get much more accuracy googling 'what's the weather like?'

So the "weather forecast" is just a guess based on the room temperature and humidity??

Cheers op 1 on order, hope the sound activation works better than those whistling Keyrings. I order loads from banggood and never had a problem other than, is it here yet, no, is it here now, no

I refuse to believe that the ultra high quality standard used in Chinese sweatshops would have allowed such an inferior product to leave the factory

I think mine used to phone Michael Fish for updates. It stopped working when he retired.

I got this. It's not bad. Maybe even too big. The whole left half of the screen is a total waste of space. And also I don't know if it's just me, but the highlighted day is shown one day off and I have no way of adjusting it.

Can I monitor temperaature in my log cabin with this? Like over a period of 24hrs and go back to see the coldest times?

What, Weather station ?? I would rather upgrade it to "babestation" !!!
