Lost Planet 2

Lost Planet 2 picks up 10 years since the events of the original adventure and the landscape has evolved dramatically. With the success of terraforming activities, the planet's ice has begun to melt, giving way to lush tropical jungles and other new environments. The story has advanced beyond Wayne Holden as players will now follow the exploits of their own customized snow pirates on their quest to seize control of E.D.N III. Players will move their heroes through different stories creating a truly unique and interactive experience. With this concept, gamers will have the opportunity to engage in the story in a more dynamic way as plot threads evolve from various perspectives.

In addition, the intense and action packed campaign mode comes with the ability to form teams of up to 4 players online to clear mission objectives with friends.

4-player co-op action: Team up to battle the giant Akrid in explosive 4 player co-operative play. Teamwork is the player's key to victory as the team is dependent on each other to succeed and survive

Single-player game evolves based on players decisions and actions

Deep level of character customization: Players will have hundreds of different ways to customize their look to truly help them define their character on the battlefield both on- and offline. Certain weapons can also be customized to suit individual player style

Beautiful massive environments: Capcoms advanced graphics engine, MT Framework 2.0, will bring the game to life with the next step in 3D fidelity and performance

Massive scale of enemies: Players skill on the battlefield and work as a team will be tested like never before against the giant Akrid. Players will utilize teamwork tactics, new weapons and a variety of vital suits (VS) to fight these larger-than-life bosses

Rewards System- Players will receive rewards for assisting teammates and contributing to the team's success

Multiplayer modes and online ranking system

Exciting new VS features- Based on fan feedback, the team has implemented an unbelievable variety of Vital Suits and new ways to combat VS overall. The new VS sytem will have a powerful impact on the way the player takes to the war zone in Lost Planet 2

Yeh 1st one wasn't great, 2nd one is looking very nice indeed, great co-op too!

ShopTo will change the price, as they did with my 'Wii Sports Resort' order, from £29.99 up to £39.99, then their new price of £37.85, so just be willing to pay closer to RRP, as they'll change this price closer to release.

I've never preordered from Shopto for this exact reason. They are free, under their T&C, to change their prices around as much as they like before release, and will charge you the final preorder price, not the price you ordered at. They will email to check that you wish to proceed, but even so, that is a pretty rubbish policy. Other companies (eg GAME, Amazon) will stick to the pre-order price they gave when you ordered.

i have had it happen to me on three separate occasions, however shopto were still the cheapest even after the increase.

I will wait to see what Tesco/Asda's price will be and get gamestation to pricematch them. They seem to have good prices for release week these days...

The game isn't out till 27/11/2009, i'd wait to pre-order, especially if you think their may be a price increase.

So people are voting on something that isn't even out for 4 and a half months and probably won't be £28.85 at all, come release day.
