If you don't plan on playing co-op don't buy this game.

I have found the Campaign without co-op perfectly enjoyable. There's then the training missions and the multiplayer match simulator with Bots which are both enjoyable. I think people just hate on this game for the sake of it but it's a reasonably enjoyable game, in co-op, multiplayer and single player. For the price you can't go wrong.

My honest opinion - It's a great game, but it's not a patch on Lost Planet 1! and could somone please explain to me why Crapcom insist on making games co-op when single player worked just fine oO

actually co-op is a reason not to buy this game as far as i'm concerned, the worst splitscreen mode i've ever seen. thoroughly enjoyed playing this in single player mode, too many people nit picking

I wasn't really a huge fan of the Lost Planet series. I found that its pacing and overall gameplay mechanics to beto be far too slow for me for my tastes. That train boss in the desert must have taken you forever on single player.

Oh what 'The Train Boss' was a nightmare. Running up and down the train to cool the gun, load the gun and then fire the gun. It took me an age to work out what I had to do. It does not tell you so if anyone is buying the game...... what I said is a hint

first thing i did was to start the coolant thingys and then on the right hand side theres a turret, did as much damage to the boss on its left side and then went up to the gun and finished it off
