It's an alright game. But I would suggest passing on it and grabbing Octopath Traveller instead. You won't be disappointed!

General consensus is, if you like Setsuna you should like this. It is quite average. I haven't played OCtopath, but it sounds fair superior.

Yes, indeed - I meant to say, I am hoping it will drop, but given the supply shortage, it seems unlikely. Third party games drop much sooner than first party games. Should have got it at Smyths on pre-order with the fiver off!

It’s a slog of a game imo and I’m a huge rpg fan after 10 hours I just started skipping the dialogue

You got a while for Octopath to drop. It's one of the better RPG's out there at the moment. A system seller kind of game.

I would still recommend using the £18 from this title and go straight for Octopath traveler. It's a proper classic rpg over.
Lost sphear took ideas from many games and just never really perfected any. The story is a miss match of what we already seen, with very minor tweaks.

Combat is great but very far and between.

I got it for £18 I believe and it lasts a good 20+ hours but it isn't an enjoyable experience. While Octopath I'm 10+ hours in and I'm still on chapter one unlocking all 8 characters.

Thanks - I will probably get it when it drops again. I've not finished 'I am Setsuna' yet, let alone bought Octopath. Was hoping Octo would drop, but worldwide shortage suggests not...!

It has only been out two weeks...

I loved I am Setsuna but for some reason not felt it with this one (only played the demo though) so not judging until I get the game and play it properly. I never even finished the demo though so that's a bad sign for me lol as I tend to love these types of games.

I will wait until it is very cheap before buying this one.
I definitely vowch for Octo...again I am waiting before I buy that as I haven't even finished the demo though I have played a lot of the demo and I love it!

I just finished this. Hated the demo but bought anyway and enjoyed it. It's half decent but nothing special, a LOT of dialogue. Got octopath so going to play that now and thoroughly loved the demo. Definitely worth 18 quid if you have nothing else to play and like jrpgs
