Good price for this type of gear, which usually retails for a £83.99. Very comfortable lots of padding, high quality gear from Vermarc.

Size wise they are an Italian fit -as an indication I'm XXL with 34" waist, 6'2", 80kg.

I doubt the RRP was ever a sale price, more marketing pricing, but seeing that the 2014 bibs are about £65 and RRP at £74 I'd say its a good price

Looks like a nice piece of kit for the money. A bit worrying when you need to buy an XXL for a 34" waist.

Similar with some brands where some frames need 2 sizes up.

Cheers for this. Only large sizes available though!

Ordered thanks 4xl might still be tight for me!!

if theres one thing worse than grown men in football tops, its fat blokes in pro cycling gear

hmmmm...do grown men not play football ??

do fat blokes not ride bikes ???

Fair play to anyone fat on a bike, at least he's making an effort. Not like a fat bloke watching football.

Here we go again. Before someone comes in and says no wearing team kit unless you ride for them.

If you like it, buy it, ride with it and be happy. Vermarcgood quality.

Never quite sure about these fat guy in lycra comments, I'm pretty slim and middle aged and always wear lycra when cycling because it 'does the job' but still get the snyde comments... I'd never mock anyone who was a bit overweight for wearing lycra but would take my hat off to them for making the effort and trying to make a difference to their fitness and weight, just don't get it....???

Looks hideous!

Its always been the case that cyclists are easy targets and fair game for anyone wanting to shout abuse etc. I have been cycling for YEARS and long before it was as trendy as it is now. (I have never seen so many people on the roads and I could go all week without seeing another cyclist). Anyway I used to get so much abuse like

"Your back wheel is catching your front wheel"

Or my favorite from a young girl

"Hey he is wearing girls cycling shorts" - this was in the 80's when girls started to wear them for fashion and I called back "The clue is in the name - cycling"

But nearly every second car there would be some kind of remark. But these days it does seem more tolerant maybe that is one upside to it being more trendy

Yeah, I'mh fat, yeah I wear lycra when I cycle, how many f's do I give.... oh, that's right zero.

Despite being about 86kg and 177cm tall I'm about average for BMI in the UK which is quite shocking but I'm probably fitter than something like 80%-90% of the population and I also spend lots of time doing martial arts, you probably wouldn't want to make comments about lycra to my face.

It's wearing the pro replica stuff that deserves the snyde comments. It's unbearable to see these middle aged under achievers whizzing to the office in the sky team kit! For gods sake if you're not being sponsored stop wearing the sponsors logo lol

Why! Is it not just the same as someone wearing a football shirt , but they never go onto the pitch.

Just wear what you like and stuff anyone else.

Underachievers whizzing past you whilst you sit on your a_rse, stuck in queues of traffic. I think you need to look in the mirror

Regardless, even you would admit the wearing of sponsor logos is particularly toe-curling

id buy anything reasonable quality at this sort of discount me

-Since just about all sports clothing is so pricey ,to me anyway

Lycra chafes less than normal shorts & undies, so yes they look horrible, but they let you do 50+ mile rides and still walk around normally the next day. So it's not about looking 'pro'.

BMI is such a pile of crap, I'm borderline obese according to the chart at 85Kg and 183cm tall but my basal metabolic rate is that of your average 32 year old! If your clothes fit well, you can squeeze the life out of females, you recover quickly from a high heart rate and enjoy your din dins that's all that matters in my book
