One of the coolest interviewers around.

Is this everything he's done? I'm thinking not but is there a box set of everything he has done? Cheers. Voted hot btw.

Thanking you. :santa:

I posted this 2 weeks ago :-D ]http//ww…sc/

heat for Louis, the mans a genius and 'just' under £15 is a steal for this much quality TV

Ha, has anyone seen the wrestling one? That was soooooo funny.
Not going to spoil it for those that havent but he suggested that wrestling was fake, soon after he was truely scared s**tless.
good deal.

nice find! but only available for delivery in 1-3 weeks...

I was gonna buy this a few months ago, and then found out it only contains about half of the weird weekends, none of the new stuff, is missing some of the best of the When Louis Met... episodes...so i illegally downloaded the whole collection instead. Word of advice to distributors - if you make you make it so the only way people can get some episodes is by stealing them, then they will end up stealing them all.

I got this for £10.99 when there was a deal on it a while ago from Play. He wrote on the inside of the DVD that some of the episodes had to be left off due to space, and also the Max Clifford one couldnt be included as Simon Cowell didnt sign it off (as he featured quite a bit in it).

I got that deal as well. Although there are a few missing it's well worth it. Even if they are doing re runs at the mo :'(

this set is fantastic. highly recommended

Voted hot, and was seriously about to buy, but It doesn't have the most hated family.

That is by far his best doc.

The fact that he actually gets those nut jobs to talk to him seriously without simply shutting off spouting their wrath of god stuff, and to actually make them come off with sympathy deserves an oscar IMHO.

The Wresteling, Porn and The Brothel are superb too, and luckily in the set.

The Philadelphia one is also superb but that one is not there too, but that can be forgiven as it was only on a few weeks back.

Also how does Simon Cowell own the rights to Max Clifford, you would of thought it would be the other way around?

To be honest, I watched this one a couple days ago (most hated family) and its not great. Obviously it is shocking in what you see, but I think Louis needed to pose some more questions. It felt it was half done and Louis wanted to achieve more. However, this is a great set and I may buy this after xmas.

As did I - my housemate was dead chuffed! It's over £20 on play now. Go figure.

watch some of this on you tube, it is so funny. its like ali g / borat.

gonna buy it, he's just been back on bbc this last week.

All the missing episodes are really funny. Id rather have them over some of the other stuff in this box set. :x

Its original and great - heat from me

Louis is A LITTLE BIT ****.....

when he puts on the " Im quite dumb " approach, it comes across as too cringy , other than that, i like his subject matters......

but hold on, why are the bbc using license payers money to produce these shows, and then sell them to the very people who paid for them to make em ? ie you and me,

TOP TIP: record the shows from the TV onto DVD. cost = free

to be fair, louis has about 5% of the talent of sacha...... not to say Louis aint alright, but Sachas' comedy is profoundly funny and raising the bar all the time.........

I think Louis is super, but this seems to miss out some of his decent sdtuff.

Nice post ordered and voted HOT

I thought exactly the same, I was desperate for him to ask some more questions (maybe he did but there wasn't time to show it all) so was left feeling a little frustrated, but compulsive viewing nonetheless.

You are comparing an interviewer/journalist with a crude impressionist...

And its a very naive viewpoint that the BBC shouldn't be charging a fair price for its programmes.

a) A very talented impressionist - comic actor performer

b) I wasnt comparing , merely replying to someones comparison

c) how is it naive ? if i paid to setup my own business, would I charge myself retail price to buy my own stock ? of course not, but thats what the BBC are doing.

by all means, release things onto DVD, but charge them COST price only, as the public paid for them to be made in the 1st place. my view isnt naive. ignorance on the otherhand is quite a naive stance in life.

OH and £ 15 for a TV low budget Series, paid by the bbc license payer, IS A FAIR PRICE ?

You can buy Batman Dark Knight for less than that on BLU RAY ,

and the Batman people didnt use 1p from the license payer.

nah - face it, the BBC are a bunch of greedy ignorant little people, which make the likes of Judas iscariot seem like a genuine friends

bankers, the lot of them

suspending J Ross and R Brand, even though it was the BBC deicion to release the pre recorded tape.

disgracefull, could only happedn in the UK, the only country in the world where people/corporations live/rule by what the gutter press think of them.

Now only £12.98!

Yeah but Batman (Heath Ledgers performance aside) was for me very long and boring. I think Louis on the other hand is excellent.

You are assuming that these would only be sold to people that have a TV licence which of course wont necessarily be the case - they cant exactly say "Ok you have a licence so we'll charge you £5 but someone else hasn't, so we'll charge them £15".

Also the BBC isn't solely funded via the licence, they could argue that if they didnt make money in other ways (such as selling their Programmes on DVDs etc) then the licence fee would have to go up.

How much have you paid for all the HD and Interactive features of the BBC? The licence hasn't gone up that much considering the cost of the new technology in the last few years, this has to be funded in other ways. And lastly, we dont know how much the BBC make and how much is profit for the retailer, it's unlikely, but maybe BBC are only getting the cost back! Or maybe the profits are offset by charging less for Series' that cost a lot more to make like Planet Earth etc.

It's not quite as black and white as you make out. I'd think before calling someone ignorant or naive. And that's also not to say I agree with the licence fee.

But how, if you have a TV in the UK, you must have a licence.

If you did not have a TV how would you watch the DVD?.

You could get someone saying clever stuff like they could use a PC. But how many people in the UK that own a PC, do not even own one TV in their house.

Therefore its reasonable to assume all people in the UK are licence holders, unless they are criminals and not paying for the licence that they legally should be.

But that's like people sniding on their tax's, the police ambulance services don't refuse to offer these people help due to them not paying part of their wages.

On the original topic, I really don't see why the BBC can't charge RRP for the DVD's though, seems perfectly fine to me, however we should really be entitled to a nice discount if buying direct from the BBC Store, which we don't get.
