Found this kamado grill on Costco Thurrock yesterday. They only had the blue one in store. Online costs ~£70 more and they have red and black colours too.

Mind you this is a huge kamado grill/oven with a 60cm grill. BGE equivalent cost 3x more.

Bought it last year (was branded pit boss then) and I am extremely happy with it. Look aside if you are not into smoking/slow cooking (beef ribs are amazing in it) or if you only grill cheap sausages/burgers.

This things a beast and mine arrived damaged so decided to get a different one since they said a replacement part was weeks away
Great instore discount.

Word of caution, it's 113kg so good luck getting it home

Also, believe this is manufactured by auplex so should be straightforward to pick up accessories.

The only question on my mind, is a Kamado Joe Classic worth the extra? Life warranty and supposedly better materials

This looks like a great deal with the 5 year warranty, any reason not to go for it?

No reason really if you are looking for a large Kamado and don't want to pay silly 3x more for a monolith/Kamado joe/BGE. This costco one is very hard to beat imho. I had it for an year of extensive use and I am very pleased with it. Word of advise, only use lump wood charcoal and never instant charcoal (chemicals can impregnate on the ceramic and will spoil the meat). I use a cheap weed flame gun from amazon to light the charcoal up directly in the bbq, saves me a lot of time.

Have you bought any accessories for it? I gather that it's a auplex so their Divide & Conquer Cooking System would work

No, I haven't found any need to add anything yet but that is maybe due to my personal use. It comes with 2 level grill but the deflector is one piece. It is fairly flexible to cook different food with grill open due to that.

I do put a tray with water under some fatty meat when slow cooking to catch fat and keep it moist.

If you need a divide and Conquer, just make sure the measurements are right ... There is hardly much difference between them i would say.
Hey!! Looking to get the same from Thurrock, who did you use for delivery?
