Definitely good value; LOVEFiLM's service has been steadily improving over the past year - HD shows and a greater portfolio of newer films. The upcoming Kindle HD will finally allow streaming on an Android device although other Android devices will have to wait. No doubt an app will come after they've milked enough sales of the Kindle.
I took up this offer earlier this year, the six months finished in September. Was impressed on the whole, IMO netflix is better (subtitles is a major plus on smartphones and ipads), but at this price, Lovefilm is very much worth it.

hi code is not working can you please check for me please ?
If this included disks it woukd be good but the streaming sucks unless you like watching old or carp films
I have been using Lovefilm Instant streaming for about a month and have been pleased with it, apart from one evening when it kept buffering (due to my internet connection on a Saturday evening I believe) and once when their website was unavailable. Personally, I think the £7.99 including unlimited blu-ray rental (one at a time) with unlimited streaming is better value than the £4.99 stream only package. 15% discount available if you prepay for a year.

Wish I had got one of the £5 vouchers every one else seems to have got, I feel all left out, I've been a loyal Groupon customer for years, why don't they like meeeeeeee? Waaaah :P
Went for this last time round, quite a good service IMO content is better than Netflix
I prefer Netflix but lovefilm does have better and newer films

Seems like they're getting desperate at amazon to give it away at this price, think even they must be surprised how popular Netflix has become

Not without circumventing the DRM they apply.
It's about six months since I last tried LF's streaming service, was not impressed. Reminded me of watching Youtube videos at 240p that had been badly transferred from VHS.

Has the service really improved that much?
Can it be sent from an iPad via Airplay to an Apple TV?
loved this deal last year - we all went 'stack' crazy with these codes!

I wish they'd sort out an android app.

I'd be tempted if they did.
Guess there is no option to stream it through WDTV live media player? They do have netflix included but I wanted to subscribe to LF as they seem to have a better collection.

i went for the other package that ended yesterday (3 months for £6)
i know people kept going on about the rubbish content available for streaming but wow! i just had a browse and they were'nt kidding. it really is rubbish
Have to agree with most people, I tried this for a month then went to Netflix and never looked back. IMO, love film has nothing, not enough to warrant spending any money on. Hot anyway cuz it's still groovy cheap! Lol
I signed up for an offer a few months ago, just to get the cashback and an Amazon voucher (so they ended up paying me £32 to watch it).
In total I had it for two months, and to be honest watched about 3 movies and a couple of TV programmes. Although slightly better than it used to be and quality of streaming is a little better, I just found the menu/software they use to be outdated and not easy to navigate (especially trying to watch a TV series in order).
It really needs a complete overhaul if it wants to compete with the likes of Netflix and I can't believe they still don't have a streaming service for mobiles?
