Yes, this is a very expensive camera bag. However, for pros this price at Amazon France is at least £100 less than you can get the AW version for in the UK. Mine arrived today and very happy with it.

Some excellent down votes so far. Despite being by far the cheapest price. Any reason?

sometimes people don't vote on deal even if it is an expensive deal. they see a camera bag at £230 where as normally a bag would be in the tens. I vote on the amount saved. if this is a saving it gets a hot deal from me
Good deal. No longer carry, or use, as much kit as I used to so this one not a lot of use for me but have always had Lowepro bags - cannot fault them. Expensive? Yes, but with camera cases/bags you really do get what you pay for.
It is a good price but there are better alternatives like the Peli 1510, which is similar to internal dimensions, is waterproof, hard cased and near enough bomb proof £135 , know which one I'd get

I will edit that, you may have to add a bit more in too for foam or dividers

Chose this one because you can split it out into a backpack too. I would have bought the Calumet one only they don't have any and can't give an eta

It's the all weather version so comes with waterproof cover etc.

I hadn't realised it broke out in to a carry pack but you can rucksacks for the Peli to carry. My guess is with this size of bag you're carrying a lot of equipment, so must be travelling long distances. A Peli would offer more protection without doubt. I've not voted, but just offering an opinion

I'm carrying a lot and have recently had surgery which is restricting what I'm allowed to lift so needed a roller

Yeah, it's just a different product to what I needed really, plus have always been happy with Lowepro in the past. It's now £409 on Lowepro's site (!) lowepro.co.uk/bra…48/

I use the slingshots, great products. All my equipment is kept in a Peli case though at home with silica gel to keep moisture out of my glass, hence why I'll always look at both brands with regards to transport. Like I said it is a great price for this product though
maybe it's me but I don't see a £230.00 camera case.
I see 30 quid worth of suitcase with a tenner worth of foam padding.
