..and now I do too! Just cost me £17.49 on amazon, cheers!

The last pyrex jug I bought was very poor at pouring due to the wide shallow spout.

its not £3 delivered though but good deal

I got it for £2 from asda

has anyone come across any plastic stacking measuring jugs that are transparent, but also have visible numbers, the transparency on these are great, but they are heavy, and not stackable. ive been looking for some for a whilst, ideally not over £5 each

There are loads about, but they are either coloured or the numbers are sort of etched in rather than standing out, or are glass or not stackable.

I have just bought basic v cheap lab glassware off 'rapidonline' in the past and if you get a dedicated set for the kitchen, it will be borosilicate glass like pyrex.

while the Pyrex are heavy, they ARE stackable, I have 3, the half pint, the one pint & the 2 pint all stored in the largest. Last time I was in Dunelm Mill they had two plastic jugs but I didn't pick them up so don't know if they fitted together, one inside the other.

Same price in Wilkinsons, online and instore. The one litre size is in Wilko just now for £3 too. But what they also have and I find to be MUCH easier to use, is their own brand one with a proper handle (closed at the bottom), These open handles make the heavy pyrex just impossible for me to hold (arthritis), the full handles are much easier.

Ordered the 1 litre jug. There is a 2 - 4 week wait but i'm in no rush. Thanks!

The 1L doesn't have the smaller increments

Rubbish pourer.

i was ideally looking for a few the same size, i do think i am going to have to maybe go with a staged set. and whilst i dont like the glass, many of the plastics struggle with very hot water. i think the dunelm mill one you were looking at might be the oxo ones, i have been considering, them but again they are staged and the same sizes dont stack, and apparently they stain.

Im sorry i sound so fussy, its just the cheap ones you get from the supermarket for 50p are ideal shape and stack perfectly, buy you cant see the numbers well, nor are they clear. if they were they would be perfect, i cant believe no one has done this,

they dont have the numbers coloured in as they come off quickly, hence why they are etched on plastic.

These are not quite dishwasher proof. The graduations have almost been 'washed' off ours, now we have to guess

do you mean like these?

I agree with other posters that these are terrible at pouring, you either have to do it too quick and spill it out of the place its going to, or slowly and it all runs down the front of the jug, unless of course they have changed the designed since I bought my last one 4 or 5 years ago.

My crappy plastic one that I stole from my mum's house is much better.

Yep, or you can get multi-packs that have a range of sizes etc

Wilkinsons had the 1L versions for £3 a couple of weeks ago.
