Just in case anyone missed the email, this event has been cancelled.
Its the corner of covent garden and if you live in London with small children the Transport museum is a bargain at £16, the ticket is for a year and children are free. Dont get me wrong once youve been there 20 times its extremely boring bu the kids still love it and theres always different craft activities on.
Its good for free but my goodness, charging 16 pounds for the limited range in there is ridiculous. London is the wrong place to build a Transport Museum, the words put together earn a sardonic sneer, let alone that the Covent Garden floorspace doesnt do a museum justice. Go free on Lottery week in November is my advice. Or go to Brooklands, 3 time the value. Or even Coventry Transport Museum for free any day, much bigger!
Nope not working...
Still on sale
Thanks! Just saved me half price!! (party)
Thanks to Robot_Devil as well.
Thank you musehead. I’ve been meaning to visit this museum for years and the offer is motivation to do so!
Thanks for this. My son loves buses etc and for £8.25 for a year - fantastic deal.
Annual Pass? Why? I see public transport every day
Oh they have a website, who knew (shock) Tbh I only buy something there if my son harasses me coming out of the museum, don't think many people would buy anything with their own volition (highfive)
Too risky for you to purchase from their website?
Today only? I thought the museum had already shut for the day, lol
Great posters, 3 ordered Thanks!
Was gonna buy a couple of the posters but the delivery is a rip off. You can’t even click and collect from Covent Garden. Also the HELLO10 code doesn’t work forget it
I was born near Alfred Hitchcock, too!!
Definite heat from me
I love this!! Thank you getting two for presents well actually one is for myself
I know, and more if you ask for it to be delivered during rush hours. Got to keep the London prices tradition alive.
Thanks OP, arrived today! Even had the cheeky RRP sticker still on it
I believe that's on the slightly bigger 00 gauge version (lol)
Does this have realistic signal failure announcements and no air conditioning
Bargain! Well done cruncher on getting the last.
Love the railway posters
Good reductions off large range of wonderful posters.
I can't believe their audacity in selling vintage stuff, signs in particular (which ain't cheap), that you need to clean up yourself. You can do that yourself by going to a station and getting handy with a screwdriver to 'acquire' the item of your choice. Their website isn't particularly well organised, some items that are on sale, aren't listed in the SALE section, yet are on offer at a 'discounted' price, eg. Homeware > Doorstops, Mats & Rugs - has a "Stop" Doormat or "Mansion House" Doormat reduced from £29.99 to £7.50 It's worth a rummage around if you're buying for someone that's fond of being reminded how stupid prices get once you mention the word 'London'. And since when has THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE been London Transport Museum affiliated?
Half price rum
Sadly, not a massive selection in the sale
Received mine in the post. They’re very good quality and they’re made in Great Britain too, which is a nice bonus. Kudos to the London Transport Museum for sourcing from the UK.
Bloody hell, what a rip off. Obertwenty quid for a kiddies hat n scarf.... cold
not voted either way - u can get hat scarf and gloves for less than a fiver at poundshop - and they are decent too
How much !
I respectfully disagree. If the regular price is £31.99 including p&p and right now you can buy them for £10 less, then that is a good deal. If it's overpriced then I agree that you wouldn't buy it, but that doesn't make it a bad deal.
Looks like TFL put the price up from £10 to £35! They must have seen people reselling..
Mine came the same. Swimming in water. Complained to them and they refunded the postage. I have worked out these are powered by induction. So if you have a wireless charger at home, pop this on top and it should light up, or flash on and off like mine did. Im tempted to convert mine with new leds and get them to turn on when the button is pressed.
Yep mine was wet as well. Absolutely filthy. Now I just need to work out what to do with it. I have taken the back off - I think I will remove all of the circuitry so it is just a flat panel and consider my options again
I think my one was levered off with a crowbar too. Just need to hammer it back into shape slightly (y)
