Can be bought cheaper but handy if you just need one delivered cheaply from a decent retailer.
Good to have a spare in the glovebox also.

Nice spot op thanks
Damn it to hell!!! Literally just finished fitting £5 pair of Osrams.
Total off topic here but I remember back in 2000 just after I left school I was working for a company called Bell Fruits who fixed fruit machines, we had an old school big plastic black bin absolutely full of these, wish I took a few now
Any of you car types know what sort of bulb I need for a rear brake light on a 2000 Ford Mondeo Estate GLX (petrol) ?

Could take a NeoLux 380, but I'd take the broken one out and check the bulb markings to be 100% sure

Standard twin filament bayonet brake bulb. There are several sites you can enter your car details on I.e the one mentioned here, which will find them for you. I have a load of these in a tub in the garage as I’ve used the same type on a ‘68 VW Beetle as I have in a 2006 Mondeo.

I have tried my reg on a few sites, none seemed clear as to what bulbs where required.
Good deal, thanks op

As Ravens has previously mentioned, they are known as a 380 and can be obtained from any car spares shop (even including one incompetent and over priced well known national chain). Try Googling ‘brake light bulb’. It’ll be the first one you see.

Fruit machine ones are only 1.2W vs the 5W that car bulbs are, so may be a bit dim for side light use

I've bought the cheap no brand 10 pack of twin filaments from Amazon before but they don't last long & seem to constantly have to be changed Hopefully the branded ones will last longer.

I've not noticed any problems so far with them. I'm fairly sure none have blown yet. Time will tell of course!
DId anyone else order from these clowns ? I still haven't received my order, emails chasing up have been ignored and same with Facebook messages
