The barcode on the back ends with 7833....
So why this 7833 ending is different than ending in any other numbers.

May be discowill has picked one of these up too. I think they should of had a different bar code sticker put on them so they scan through at £7.50.
I'd be interested to know how accurate these are. Any handheld baggage scales i've ever seen/used have been woefully inaccurate.
I got 2 of these from Oldham westwood last week. In the bargain bin labelled £1 or less.
Haven't tested them yet but for a quid....
Highly reccomended, I've got one of these and have always found it to be 100% accurate and spot on with the airlines scales. We always take it away with us to check the return luggage. At that price if I see one I'll buy a spare lol
These are excellent. Family member used one of these for a holiday this year. Ive been waiting for the price to drop ever since (7.50 is abit much). Luckily I picked one up last week from tesco extra dudley last week after seeing it posted in 10ways. None left instore now though as I looked today
Got the Luggage Scales from Poundland. Being a bit concerned due to the £1 price tag, we did a check when at the airport checkin and both the airport scales and Poundland scales gave the same weight.

Absolutely, had these for couple of years and always spot on. Now travel to the airport with peace of mind.
If I see one of these when I'm in I'll pick one up, since it's only a quid, but for the last few years we have had a very malnourished member of the family, who gets weighed on the Wii, before we go anywhere. It's also pretty accurate.
just bought 4 and got my staff discount aswell! 90p each!!
Had these and they are out by 1.5kg. There is no way to calibrate them....
Which Poole is this - Tower Park or Fleetsbridge?
Its a facebook page 10 ways to save money as a student or something along those lines I'm a member on their but cant login to check the correct name.
pound land do scales for £1.00
Got one today. Thanks curtisd66 for sharing
Awful - cheap and inaccurate - 1 in 20 might read close enough - but these can be and are often up to a couple of kilos out - The Wii scales are more accurate if you have them!

(I work at a scale company and have tested these in the past with proper calibration weights)

If you really want to get them, then put some bags of sugar in a carrier bag and see how far out they are - if they're out by a 100g at 1kg, they are likely to be 1-2kg out at 20kg (_;)

it would only take a couple of trips to calibrate against the airline scales.

I got them in tower park .... They were in the isle with all the other travel bits
Voted hot! Just been to Tesco extra Durham. Says out if stock on shelf next to luggage but a little further down aisle there's about a dozen left hanging off shelf. Price marked £1. Much more accurate and better than the analogue ones they are selling for over a fiver
    Just bought 2 - Talbot Green :-)
    None in my tescos
