I think this is a much better option than the digital version. If you can be bothered to sell it after playing through it's likely you won't lose much more than a tenner on this. The physical copies seem to hold their value really well.

The green Mario has a game of its own now?
The Switch is probably the best console for keeping physical copies, helps with the limited storage space and if you've got a case it's easier to carry around multiple games with the switch due to the small cartridge size.
39.85 from shop2 and a few other places also.

Agreed, I will be picking it up physical.
I bought Mario Kart 8 over 1 year ago for 37 brand new and it still holds it's value.

The first Luigi's Mansion came out in 2001 and even further back in 1993 he played the starring role in Mario Is Missing!
Is it too late to order this to get it on release day?

Agreed. I bought Link's Awakening for £40 and sold it nearly three weeks later (having completed it) to CEX for £36. People complain about Nintendo pricing, but you just have to make it work for you. Some games like Octopath Traveler or Fire Emblem Three Houses I could have actually turned a profit from pre-ordering on line and selling to CEX within a month.

I think Nintendo do game pricing correctly. Games shouldn't lose value so dramatically like they do on other platforms, I personally feel it just harms the industry more than it does good. Games should be the same price as launch for at least a good year, to my knowledge no other media loses value so quickly than games.

The little trick publishers are doing now? Launch game at full price for a month. Then reduce said game to half price but then introduce or add further microtransactions into the games to compensate once launch reviews are done. It's dirty and I don't like it.

Just my lil rant there, thanks for listening haha.
Were there any incentives for preorder?

I got mine this morning from Shopto with a glow in the dark sticker sheet and keyring. I'm pleased I got it a day early though

I agree with this for their major franchises that hold value, but their retro re-releases are criminally priced, and the Nintendo tax on ports and third party games is also awful. The reason I'm on a deals website is because Nintendo prices make me need deals
