15 per month for 24 months = 360
plus £10 for the phone = £370
plus £85 qudico = £285

if you don't understand o2 refresh a quick search on these comments will explain

basically the phone plan is £15 month X 24 months = £360
plus £10 upfront = £370
plus £85 quidco you get = £285

With O2 Refresh You can cancel any time and pay off your Phone plan which is the £15 month but this has to be done after qudico or top cash back has tracked.

Hope that helped

No idea where the op is getting £285, looking at the link I posted and … No idea where the op is getting £285, looking at the link I posted and what it says on the O2 site it should be £369.99Representative example24 months Duration of agreement£480 Device cash price£9.99 Upfront cost£360.00 Credit amount0% Interest rate (fixed)0% Representative APR£15 Monthly device payment£369.99 Device amount payable£18 Monthly airtime paymentIgnore most of the bits on the, the important bits are in bold. You have to pay the device amount which they've got as £15/month over 24 months is £360 plus the £9.99 upfront cost, even if you cancel the contract straight off you're still paying the device cost in on lump sum rather than over 2 years.

You haven't included the quidco cash back of £85

Basically OP has included quidco in his calculations which is not allowed.

You're new to this site so you don't know the posting rules, you CAN'T include quidco/top cash in the deal price, you have to put the actual price in the title and say you get £x cash back. The one I linked to is the same deal as this, just since the guy posted it would appear the cash back as increased as it was £55. Unless I'm mistaken in this case this 'deal' will count as a repost/spam.

Edit: darn it got beaten again while I was typing

quidco and topcashback are now supposed to take months to clear, presumably, so you have to keep the monthly plan going for a while, in case cancellation stops the cashback...

Don't forget that you need to have the account open long enough for the quidco to pay out so you must take this in to the equation.

Good luck getting Quidco and TopCashback without paying for quite a few months of Airtime in the future. Seems O2 caught up and are holding off payments, though some have recently managed to get Quidco to do an upfront payment with previous deals (after waiting two and a half months). If you need the cash back to be able to afford this I would give this deal a very wide berth.

Good afternoon,

It has been brought to our attention that some Quidco members are taking out contracts with O2, cancelling the contract and then still receiving cashback for this sale. As per the standard terms and conditions for cashback, if a purchase is cancelled, then cashback would not be payable.

Please be aware that Quidco reserves the right to terminate any Quidco accounts whereby we deem the member to be misusing the service, this is outlined in our Quidco Account Holder Agreement, section 8.

The retailer is now reviewing this issue and will be taking precautions to ensure that transactions are not honoured where the sale has been cancelled. Any current tracked cashback where the purchase has been cancelled, will be declined

Kind regards,

Quidco

Just wanted to say thanks to the OP.

I ordered this deal and received the phone this morning. Slight co-ck-up from O2 meant they sent me a Micro sim instead of a nano sim but a visit to the O2 store soon sorted that out.

Free hardware bundle was ordered and got confirmation. Could only get yellow but better than nothing.

Requested the Handset Unlock at 3pm and received an email this evening with the code.

All in all very happy with the deal.

Quidco tracking for payment in December so looks like they'll force a few months out of you. Doesn't make any odds to me as i'll be using the line anyway as I pay for a contract for my parents.

Quidco has expired, I think..

It shows that the offer for the £130 worth of accessories has expired...
