£45.99 instead of £59.95, supposedly helps you wake up naturally and feel better in these dark winter mornings.

I ordered to give it a go - reviews are great, if it works it will be the best buy ever.

Same price as amazon, but much cheaper elsewhere - free click and collect for non-primers on amazon.

Sure they're doing something similar for about half that in Aldi at the moment...

So this basically fools you into thinking it's nice and bright outside when you wake up, and then when you step out you are greeted by darkness, rain, and clouds?

wouldn't that mess with your head?

I know a guy though that swears by them.

I had a cheap version of one of these. It was a total waste of money. Can't comment on this as I've never had it but I think sometimes its worth spending a little extra. Heat added for the good price.

I hear a lot of good reviews about these, mainly because the bulb is replaceable (£5) whereas a lot of other units (including the similarly priced Philips ones) can't. Also, I work for a charity which provides free "light box" therapy and the lamp we have is a lumie so I can only assume they must know what they're doing with this sort of thing! Wondering whether to take the plunge... Been thinking about it for a while

Same price at Tesco on-line (maybe they pay UK tax that is if they make a profit)
