PS theres none left in Cardiff someone bought them all :whistling:

I got this preowned for a fiver in gamestation just a few weeks ago.

Worth checking if its been patched and requires firmware 3.51 as this is what happened to the japanese lumines recently.

Well yes, but it's an in-store offer, so it's a bit academic! ;-)

bah attention to detail is everything!!!

Excuse my ignorance but aside from the fact that its a pretty good puzzle game, why the high prices on ebay and whats this about Firmware?

I picked a copy of this up for less than a tenner after christmas and don't want to shift it on for less than its worth

you need it to downgrade the firmware on the PSP, so if you wanted to use homebrew on it or run backups* from the memory card.

* of your own games ofcourse not ilegal downloads

Lumines II is available from HMV for £12.99 inc delivery (plus 10% Quidco). Most reviews seem to say it's more like an upgrade of the original than a proper sequel .

Ive been looking out for any of these I can find and bunging them straight on Ebay. They will sell easily for £19.99 on a buy it now...just about to go post 2 of them now.
Thats a cracking price, i'll be visiting Sainsburys myself !

i saw this is Asda on Wednesday for a fiver on PSP. infact they had several clearance games for ps2, PSP, xbox, gba, NDS etc.

i have the game and I don't think it's that good to be honest, didn't know it was going for £20+ on ebay, I might sell mine 'cus I don't play it.

People don't want Lumines for the game, they want it for the ability to downgrade fimrware - I was initially puzzled where the sudden demand for Lumines came from but that's apparently why.

I think its a nice little game, very much like Tetris.

I went into my local sainsburys today, and phoned up 2 others, and they had no stock damnit!

lumines is needed to downgrade psp whose firmware is 3.50 or higher i believe, down to 1.50 in order to install custom firmware to play homebrew and backup games from the memory card. ive seen it go for £30 even on ebay! If youre thinking of listing it, i would personally go for an auction listing with a low start rather a buy it now or a high starting auction. Seems to get the most money.

My local sainsburys had more stock this week, got the last 2 so might be worth looking out for them again.
